Possible Scenarios01. A New Arrival: You've just arrived in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a very strange sense of having been displaced. Thankfully, you don't appear to be alone. Here's hoping that person passing by is helpful, and doesn't plan on mugging you or something!
02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Maybe you'll find someone who can help you fight off that shadowy thing that's creeping towards you!
03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a party at the Tower by someone who calls themselves the Emperor. Obviously that's weird, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! Just make sure you watch out for those little red packets of powder.
04. Wild Card: Choose your own adventure!
Anders [Dragon Age] - 03
Or at least, didn't have to look over his shoulder because people were anti-mage or against the actions he had taken in his past. Coming from a war to this modern world had been a bit of a culture shock, but now he was getting used to it.
Used to it, but still not willing to give up robes. There was something that felt right about them. Now for this party he had had a good excuse to use his meager wages to get a nice pair. There were still dark, as was his aesthetic these days, but he didn't have as many feathers this time in favor of a crimson design that ran through the fabric.
As he looked over his choices for the food, he thought the party seemed to be an excess display of wealth. Not that he was really complaining about that just yet. He just didn't have the history to judge if this was an every day affair or if something special was happening.
"Do they usually go all out for these things?" he asked no one in particular.

Hermione Granger| Harry Potter|OTA [1]
The war had just ended, and they had WON, she was really looking forward to sitting down with her books, and just enjoying life. She was looking forward to it, she had earned it, but now she was here.
Her eyes did light up just a little bit, because she did like learning new things, but still everyone deserves a break right?

Like right that moment, when he caught a glimpse of someone he'd known for ages, hated for ages, and then finally come to like. Only to have her leave right before her bloody birthday.
There was no way she was the same; Draco wasn't that lucky.
"Well, well," he greeted her dryly, holding ground where he'd stopped a few feet away, hands tucked into his pockets to keep her from seeing the faint tremble that had accompanied him for the last bit of time. "Hello there."

Conner aka Kon-El aka Superboy| DC New52 | Option 3
Even if he was still new, he was ready to party, ready to enjoy himself, and ready to not think of home. Maybe even have a new adventure. Except hopefully, this one would come without being shot at, nearly dying, dying, being stabbed, or any other form of combat. Kon's life had been way too full of that of late.
Kon was dressed in casual clothing, but due to the influence of Red Robin in his life, it was expensive casual clothing, and fit him even better than he would prefer. It was, right now, his best clothing. Of course it was worn over his supersuit, since he never took it off save to use his powers to clean it. So he was there, looking around, and hoping the night would be forgetful, and yet, memorable.

"I don't recognize your face. You must be new here."
John Constantine || Hellblazer || 2.
The only reason John has been minding his own business because let's face it, he's incapable of doing so otherwise. That's not the main point here. This was not a place he was previously and he wasn't that bloody knackered to not remember where the fuck he was, so where was he and more importantly: where can he find a pack, he's almost out of fags.
With a heavy sigh, John lights one up and shoves his hands into the deep pockets of that trusty coat. Having a tagalong from down south wasn't really out of order when it came to him, but it was a little strange that it kept itself so distant like. They're usually more than eager to jump on him. That being said, about a half mile more skulking about figuring the lay of the land so to speak, John gets irritated.
"Well c'mon then ye bloody bastard." John either doesn't know there's a few other people about (which is possible, he's a bit staggered and smells like he's not seen a wash in a good bit nor has he consumed much more than gin for over a month) or doesn't give a toss that they'll be watching him. "out to the light so I can see y'pretty, aye? Let's not play shy."
But he's always strangely aware, even at the edge of it all. A curse, maybe.

Kate Cordello | X-Men Movies OC | 1 ((Take 2, the Electric Boogaloo))
Kate had left her flight bag in the room. Her hat and gloves still remained. She understood from observation, that wearing gloves and a hat in this city didn't appear to be in fashion, she couldn't make herself take them off. Besides, she might need her hair pin. It was long and sharp.
After a while, Kate sat down on a bench. She had some hard decisions to make. Should she seek someone out or should she try to figure this out on her own? It was not going to be an easy decision to make.

1. | Rogue : X-Men
Even if she wasn't that much of a stranger to new places, she still stood there, seemingly out of place, with a completely perplexed expression on her face. After all, she had been on the jet, and then here. No rhyme or reason, as least as far as she could tell, and it wasn't as if Kurt were around... Plus, she doubted he would just move her without a reason, and Jean had been- she let out a breath at that.
Tugging the zipper of her Xavier sweatshirt up, Rogue pursed her lips. The others couldn't be too far... Could they? Mumbling to herself, more or less, Rogue stood, debating to go left or right down the street. Or if it even made a difference. "How did Ah even get off the Blackbird... And how do you misplace a jet anyway."
can I just add: 'EEEEEEE ROGUE'?
only if I can add EEEEW MAGNETO! :D

Cole | Dragon Age | 02 - demon ahoy with two options
He had heard the cries for help, had gone to see what he could do. It had felt wrong... but then, everything feels wrong here; the air is thick with poison. He'd heard the sound of a person in distress and had done the only thing that made sense.
But he'd gotten close, and they'd changed, reached for him with a monster's grasp.
[OPTION 1: FIGHT THE MONSTER]
He has instincts and reflexes beyond what the creature expects. Cole twists in the demon's grip, ducking out of the way of its jaws and rolling across the pavement. He nimbly finds his balance, but the demon is already shrieking and coming after him again. Just as lightning-quick, Cole's hands raise toward the hilts of his daggers.
[OPTION 2: YOU'RE TOO LATE]
A piece of him is missing. He feels the space in the side of his neck. He also feels what it left in its place.
It's like his heart is pounding, only of course is isn't, but something is racing through him in a steady thrum.
It's difficult to concentrate on his feet as he walks. Everything feels too alive. The poison isn't just in the air now - he sees it radiating off of people in waves, an instinctive pull followed by stay away, unwanted, danger.
Until he senses someone who doesn't feel quite so menacing. Cole pauses in his steps, reaches out with a hand as if begging.
"Please help."
((OOC: Depending on which option you choose, Cole is either fighting a lust demon or has been bitten by one. Fair warning, choosing Option 2 may lead to the obvious.))
[I'm so going to hell for this but let's do option two!]
Anders isn't one to deny the request for help. He'd want to even without the weird pull he feels when Cole comes near to him that he wants to believe is Justice responding to kin.
"Of course," he says without even hesitating. "What's wrong?"
[I hear they have good parties down there]
[oh good. otherwise it'd be boring!]

Some ovMennet || OC || 1.
His teleports have been going awry for a while now. Not every time, but sometimes, he winds up somewhere unknown, somewhere new, and then he has to figure out a way back to somewhere he knows so he can teleport home.
But this doesn't feel like that. There's not even the faintest hint of familiar geography. Some darts out of the glare of a headlight, just a long, spidery figure in silhouette. It's so strange to be among human architecture again, but he remembers that it's better to go up, and in a quick bound, he's on top of a dumpster, then half-way up another lamppost. A quick last of the weapon he carries coiled around his waist puts out that light, and he's made himself a dark place. Perhaps not as discretely as he might have hoped.

Cole hears the light shatter, and one hand raises toward a dagger. At the same time, he functionally vanishes himself. Melds into the nearby shadows to observe the danger, or wait until it passes.
There's something nearby. He reaches for its mind, just to see what it feels like.
Lost, but safe for now. Like the dark, wrap it around me like a cloak. It doesn't feel like danger, necessarily, but this place has him skittish. Things that are safe in the dark aren't always to be trusted.
He creeps forward toward the dark place, still feeling to see if he can find out more.

Bruce Banner l MCU l
Bruce stumbled slightly and looked around confused and more than a little worried. Something didn't feel right to the scientist but he couldn't put his finger on what it was. He looked around and tried to find someone who looked friendly enough to ask for help.
[02]
Someone was following him. Bruce had spent enough time avoiding such things to know when it was happening. He took a deep breath and tried to speed up to lose whoever...or whatever it was before it created a problem. A big green problem.

Captain Hook | Once Upon a Time | Option 2
The fact that it's a shadowy thing isn't even new either. He really needs to expand his horizons some more.
He's been followed by said shadowy thing for three blocks now. It's time to do something about it. He turns to face it and draws his sword, which he twirls through the air, holds in the direction of the threat. "Let's see just what manner of creature you are, shall we?"
