Possible Scenarios01. A New Arrival: You've just arrived in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a very strange sense of having been displaced. Thankfully, you don't appear to be alone. Here's hoping that person passing by is helpful, and doesn't plan on mugging you or something!
02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Maybe you'll find someone who can help you fight off that shadowy thing that's creeping towards you!
03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a party at the Tower by someone who calls themselves the Emperor. Obviously that's weird, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! Just make sure you watch out for those little red packets of powder.
04. Wild Card: Choose your own adventure!
Anders [Dragon Age] - 03
Or at least, didn't have to look over his shoulder because people were anti-mage or against the actions he had taken in his past. Coming from a war to this modern world had been a bit of a culture shock, but now he was getting used to it.
Used to it, but still not willing to give up robes. There was something that felt right about them. Now for this party he had had a good excuse to use his meager wages to get a nice pair. There were still dark, as was his aesthetic these days, but he didn't have as many feathers this time in favor of a crimson design that ran through the fabric.
As he looked over his choices for the food, he thought the party seemed to be an excess display of wealth. Not that he was really complaining about that just yet. He just didn't have the history to judge if this was an every day affair or if something special was happening.
"Do they usually go all out for these things?" he asked no one in particular.

"Yes, I suppose that I did just announce that to any one within ear shot, didn't I?"

"No shame in that. People are usually pretty open to helping out new arrivals."
