01. A New Arrival: You've just arrived in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a very strange sense of having been displaced. Thankfully, you don't appear to be alone. Here's hoping that person passing by is helpful, and doesn't plan on mugging you or something!

02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Maybe you'll find someone who can help you fight off that shadowy thing that's creeping towards you!

03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a party at the Tower by someone who calls themselves the Emperor. Obviously that's weird, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! Just make sure you watch out for those little red packets of powder.

Bruce stumbled slightly and looked around confused and more than a little worried. Something didn't feel right to the scientist but he couldn't put his finger on what it was. He looked around and tried to find someone who looked friendly enough to ask for help.

Someone was following him. Bruce had spent enough time avoiding such things to know when it was happening. He took a deep breath and tried to speed up to lose whoever...or whatever it was before it created a problem. A big green problem.

Hermione had been in the city for about a week, and she was still trying to get the lay of the land so to speak. She had a book in her hand, and was reading. She found a bench, and the city was sort of pleasant in an odd sort of way.

Bruce spots the young woman and hesitates for a moment. She's a complete stranger and he doesn't really trust people he doesn't know. But being in a new city with no idea how he got there makes it important that his trust issues take a back seat for the moment. He walks up to her and clears his throat. "Excuse me miss," he says softly, "I don't mean to bother you but could you tell me where I am?"

Hermione glanced up from her book, slightly startled, because she wasn't used to being spoken to,being so new.

"Hello," She greeted, her face relaxed. "It's no bother. You're in the City of Sin, or did you mean specifically?"

"The City of Sin," Bruce says confused as he looks around, "this doesn't look like Vegas to me...not that I've been there with any regularity." He smiles. "Could you be a little more specific...is City of Sin a nickname or is it actually way this place is called."

Hermione smiled. "Is that in the Americas?" She asked a question of her own. "It's the actual name, but I haven't worked out what it means exactly, but I will," She added quickly.

"So where are you from exactly?"

"Yes," Bruce says smiling, "Los Vegas is a place where most people like to go a little wild. Hence the nickname city of sin. As for me I'm not really from anywhere. I travel a lot."

"What sorts of places have you been?" She looked up at him, scooting over. "Please have a seat?"

"I've been to India, Brazil and Spain among other places," Bruce says warmly, "Bruce Banner by the way and you are?"

"I've only read about those places, but haven't had the experience of going yet. That is truly remarkable."

"Hermione Granger. I'm from London."

"I wasn't really traveling by choice but it did expose me to areas of the world I might not have seen otherwise," Bruce says easily, "it's a pleasure to meet you Miss Granger. May I ask what book you are reading?"

"Hermione, please," She said smiling. "I'm still getting used to people using my surname, but it is necessary in my position." She glanced down at the book in her hands.

"Pride and Prejudice, it's one of my favorite books," She explained. "Do you like to read Dr. Banner?"

"Looking for your own Mr. Darcy," Bruce teases, "and it's Bruce please. Dr. Banner reminds me of my father sometimes and the less said about him the better."

Louise had packed up for the day, and was heading back towards Finance Street and her brownstone, briefcase in hand. She'd a brief, passing thought about the strange man in front of her several paces who kept looking back at her every so often, but dismissed it. After all, she was a cop, and a formidable one, but she was petite and delicate to the appearance.

Bruce relaxed slightly when he saw it was just a woman with a briefcase. But he also knew that briefcases hid things so he didn't relax completely. "I know this is a strange question," he called out to the person behind him, "but am I wrong in thinking we might be being watched?"

Louise just stopped and regarded the stranger gamely.

"Not at all," she drawled with a wry chuckle. "God knows what the Magistrates are capable of. I gather you're new here. You're not exactly carrying yourself with the gait of a seasoned citizen."
