Possible Scenarios01. A New Arrival: You've just arrived in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a very strange sense of having been displaced. Thankfully, you don't appear to be alone. Here's hoping that person passing by is helpful, and doesn't plan on mugging you or something!
02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Maybe you'll find someone who can help you fight off that shadowy thing that's creeping towards you!
03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a party at the Tower by someone who calls themselves the Emperor. Obviously that's weird, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! Just make sure you watch out for those little red packets of powder.
04. Wild Card: Choose your own adventure!

"Thank you." His voice is quiet and flat, his eyes wide and staring haunted toward Anders. On the outside, he must not look so different from how he normally does. Inside - it isn't the same.
He glances down. The next sentence comes out more halting.
"I am called Cole."

He leaned a little closer to put his arm around Cole to guide him back to his flat. He planned to use that time to see if there was sign of more of the poison.

"You know." The surprise was, for the moment, enough to distract him. He started walking along with Anders. "Most people don't. Not even when they can see."

"I had a friend once who was a spirit of Justice," he explains. Saying that might have been dangerous if he was talking to a person from his world. Most everyone knows that the one who blew up the Chantry in Kirkwall was possessed by a spirit of Justice, even if they all have their own take on the tale. "I don't know if you can tell, but he's a part of me now."
Even if he couldn't tell that, Cole might be able to sense is the lingering pain of loss that hangs over that idea. Justice had been a friend, and in trying to survive within Anders he had been twisted by the anger. He wasn't a demon, no matter what people opposed to the Mage/Templar War might think, but he was not longer his own entity. Anders might have gained the ability to change the world, but he had lost his friend.
It was weird, how even lingering on that made him feel like he had to make sure that Cole was protected. He didn't want to lose any more good spirits. For now, though, that meant doing what he could to make sure Cole was okay.

"I'm glad that I found you." His arm tightens on Anders' shoulder. He's almost clinging as they get closer to the flat.
It's a struggle to keep his breathing under control. Cole puts a hand to his throat, even as he leans into Anders and forces his feet to keep moving.
"It burns."

"Just hang in there," he says. "I'll help as much as I can."
When they get to his flat he guides Cole to his couch to sit down.
