State of the City : Irritation

WEEK 45 : Irritation
November 20 - 26
Citizens, this week, might find that their irritation (probably stemming from the whole forgetfulness thing) a little more ramped up than usual. People are on edge, taking remarks out of context, and generally finding themselves a little more temperamental than usual. Snappishness is common.
(Players will decide how and to what degree their characters are affected by this and all of the prominence shifts to come. It is entirely optional to be involved with the prominence events. This will last for one in-game week and end on November 1. Please remember that we are on a 3:1 day ratio!)
State of the City At Large:
Questions? Like to arrange a meeting with an NPC? Fire away! If you wish to arrange a meeting with an NPC, please give the mods details on what you’d like to achieve so that we’re capable of providing.
Additionally, feel free to use this as a plotting post for the upcoming week!

State of the City At Large:
The Weather
As if the mood shift wasn’t enough, the weather of the City is just aiming to be vexing too: it’s constantly grey and rainy, with the odd hint of what looks like snow in the wee hours of the morning. It melts by the time the sun’s up, but that’s not the point.Towards the end of the week, snow does replace the rain, settling in for the winter.
Crime
There seems to be a larger influx of Lust infiltrating the City once more, vexing the CSPD thoroughly. No related deaths have turned up yet, but they’re not holding their breath that that will remain true.
Crime has generally settled into a constant state, with people apparently sticking to what they’re doing. The major crime rings know what they’re doing, the shadow demons still present know what they’re doing, and no one is really branching out.
Rumours
Rumour has it that the citizens of the City are still sending Temperance their dollhouse furniture, though there’s no news on how much he actually likes it.
Good news for those suffering from a build-up of static electricity these last few weeks: it appears to have stopped entirely, save around one small area of Leisurebrook. Likewise, the plants have stopped growing, though a handful of buildings in the Gardens of Pleasure have a very nice covering of ivy now.
There’s no news on what exactly caused the semi-magical outbursts, though there are a few citizens located at the corner where Shantytown meets the Gardens and the Red Lantern District say that they saw some kind of mild explosion on the evening of November 18th. No further details are known at this time.
Additional Notes
As of now, most of the open implications from the ongoing plot, found here, are concluded.
