Possible Scenarios
Please note that all characters will initially arrive in their assigned housing; they are free to explore the City to their heart's content after that!01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach churning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged!
02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filling the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running?
03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party in the Tower District that spills out its doors in welcome. Obviously, this whole thing is weird and you don't know who your hosts are, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad.
04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences its population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride: choose your sin and be wicked.
05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villain.
06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With its open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank.
07. Network: There's a network device in your pocket - or at least a familiar object that seems to work in mysterious ways. Perhaps you can take to that and ask for a bit of help? Or maybe you'd prefer to have a little fun with all of this. Surely someone will reply.
08. Wild Card:Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!
Chloe Decker | Lucifer
Chloe is good at think-on-your-feet situations. She has to be, with lives on the line. But even she, with her training and her years of experience, has no idea what to do when she finds herself on an unfamiliar street in an even-more-unfamiliar city. Especially when she doesn't know how she got here.
She's already making a list in her head of what needs to happen, and in what order, because missing something important could have disastrous consequences. Her hand goes to her hip, looking for the familiar weight of her gun. Good. Right where it should be. She leaves her hand resting on it while she turns to the next item on her list. The most important item.
"Trixie? Trixie?!"
Network
Okay. So what should I know about this place that *isn't* in the guidebook?

Thor Odinson | MCU
Someone is not having a good day. More accurately, he's not having a good week. So when he finds himself wandering down some strange street when he was just among trees in Wakanda, it's the icing on the bad mood cake.
He doesn't have time to react, though, because he barely has the chance to turn around before the shadows appear. He doesn't know anything about this threat, just that it is a threat. It's a good thing he's got his armor and his fancy hammer.
All it takes is a moment. He turns and strikes the creature right on the torso with his hammer, in a blow that drives it away from him in a tangle of blue lightning. No running for him, just striking out at anything that would dare to come after him.
With the threat easily subdued, he strides off down the street, in search of what he can't really say, but something.
Wildcard
Or find him somewhere else once he's calmed down a bit.

James Norrington / PotC
James blinks. A moment before, he was surrounded by his fellow chosen in the courtyard between the insulae, in the bright sunlight of a new morning and now he is... not.
It is dark, but not dark at the same time. Lights of a thousand colours glow from a hundred windows in buildings that soar towards the sky. There is a press noise, of conversation and mechanical humming. People walk past him, taking no notice of the man in a sandal and tunic, too busy talking into strange slim boxes in their hands.
Something zooms passed him, a carriage that has no horses, that emits a cloud of foul smoke behind it. He steps backwards, utterly bewildered, and missing his footing on the raised kerb, tumbling into someone.
Carnival
Whatever the noise was like in the busy streets of the City, these streets are cleared of traffic. Instead they're full of stalls and entertainments not unfamiliar to James. They're like the markets he knows from England and Port Royal, and while the prizes and the games are not the ones he remembers from his boyhood, the place itself somehow... is not as frightening as it could be.
He wanders from stall to game to display, until one of the stallholders calls to him and catches him by the elbow. "Shoot the bottles sir, win a cuddle toy for your sweetheart! A prize every time!"
He tries to pull away, but a musket of some sort is thrust into his hands.
"Sweetheart?" James says bewildered, looking around. He has no sweetheart, and there certainly isn't anyone stood near enough to him to be mistaken for such a relation, is there?
Wildcard!
Have at it!

Genn Graymane | World of Warcraft
Given that he'd traveled between Kul Tiras and Stormwind multiple times by portal now and it had gone smoothly enough everytime that Genn had expected to find himself standing within the Sanctum of the Sages within Boralus after having departed Stormwind, yet the area he stood in was nothing like any city he'd ever stepped foot in before now.
Obviously the first course of action to be taken was to seek out answers as to where he was now and then how he'd arrived here instead of his intentioned destination. Which meant locating citizens that he could badger with his questions. Therefore he could be found walking down the streets obviously armed with pistol and sword, with an expression that made him look rather unapproachable.
Demons
It'd been awhile since his arrival and while he's really not much closer to the answers he wants, he's still trying to find them. Yet, it would seem something else has found him instead and if not for excellent reflexes, and the fact he'd been waiting for the other shoe to drop, the thing that had lashed out at him might have actually landed it's attack. Instead, it missed and he pulled back away so that the next attack was deflected by the drawn sword. It didn't look like any creature he'd fought before, but given enough time, he'd no doubt see everything it would be capable of doing and would then would be capable of finding an opening to take it down.
Thus anyone crossing his path during this will find him engaging the demon with his sword and evading footwork for a bit before finally pulling a rather old looking pistol out from it's leather holster to fire a shot at it's shadowy snake-like head.
Wild Card
Feel free to find him somewhere else. Or request something and I'll figure out a starter for it.

Jaina Proudmoore | World of Warcraft
Being educated in Dalaran and then, later, courted by Arthas Menethil meant that Jaina had no little experience with parties. That being said, it's been quite a while since she's had an excuse to go to a fine event and the one in the Tower District this evening seems the perfect opportunity to get to know some of the people in this city. It's necessary to make new connections here. Her connections with the Wrynns in Stormwind would do her no good here and she would have to start from the ground.
While she takes food and drink, she's cautious not to over imbibe and she watches carefully before approaching anyone. She needs to make conversation, yes, but she doesn't want to insinuate herself into anything without having some semblance of an upper hand. She catches the thread of a conversation behind her and inclines her ear to it before turning a bit and smiling.
"Forgive me, I hadn't realized I was so close. It seems being new has relieved me of my manners."
Trouble
Jaina isn't sure what draws her to the Red Lantern District other than a desire to map out the city and explore it for her own knowledge. It's been a long while since she's been somewhere that truly hasn't been surveyed by Alliance or Horde - not since the Argus campaign - and it seems her reliance on portals has done her ill service. Her visit to this district she'd put last, though, and that is because she'd had no desire to indulge herself in drugs or whores.
Both are plentiful here. She's been offered illicit substances by more than one dealer and she's shaken them off, some more forcefully than others. She's been leered at, offered employment and propositioned. It isn't until she sees a pimp cuff a prostitute around the head that she takes action.
"Shouldn't you pick on someone who can fight back? There's not a lot of sport in hitting a woman who doesn't have a chance of defending herself." Jaina doesn't know why she picks the fight. Her temper is short of late - both out of worry for the campaign back home and uncertainty about her place here in the city. Perhaps this is the outlet she needs.
"She depends on you for survival. You already take your cut from her. Doesn't bloodying her spoil her looks?" Jaina readies the spell beneath her breath just in case the man decides to strike.
Claire Temple | MCU | 1/5 & 7
As far as Claire Temple is concerned, waking up in a strange apartment when she should have been on a plane is about as jarring as waking up underwater before crawling out of a large fountain into a Victorian aged mining town. This place, however, had a much darker feel to it than she'd ever felt in New York and she didn't have superpowers.
The upheaval sent her down to the streets of the City, disoriented and lost before Claire even realized it; her mind working through memories of an explosion, a lightning strike and the sheer sadness and disappointment that came with seeing Luke's face.
She hears the faint whistle of a cat call but it doesn't register at first. It takes the voice of a man behind her saying, "Hey baby, I'm calling you. Why're you not answering me."
Claire turns, eyes quickly darting between each of the three guys before she realizes what's happening. It's the same situation she remembers hearing time after time from some of the young women in the ER at Metro.
"Back off," she says and only waits as long as it takes to realize what their plan and she wasn't going to go done without a fight. Pushing forward she pushed one into the other and attempts to punch the third in the face. Only he caught her wrist before she could.
"HEL-" was all Claire could get out before a hand was slapped over her mouth.
[ Network - Video ]
[ The network is new to her, or well, partially. It was being able to use a normal cellphone after only using a wrist device to communicate. So, this is a perk, as far as she's concerned.
But, with that on her mind, it begs to ask the question. ]
Anyone else out there that's done some world hopping between their last place and here?

Jane Kirk | ST: AOS
The street was unfamiliar but the creeping sensation of wrongness wasn't. Jane shook her head in a vain attempt to clear her muddled senses while taking stock of what she had.
Or didn't.
Making jump after jump got dizzying after a time, especially when you never knew what or where you'd end up and it seemed the universe was playing a long con game on her having sent her back somewhere she'd been before. Even if those memories were warped and confused and she didn't enjoy any kind of introspection.
She was definitely broke again, which, fine, that's not surprising, but what was, was that she came to wearing her leather jacket, hair cut short and feeling, well, generally older. Weird. So weird. She should make a scale of weird things that happen to her.
She needed a drink. And there was no better place to find a drink than in the center of a seedy city and off the beaten path. She enters the first bar she sees and slides onto a stool at the far left of the counter. Maybe not the best first choice when waking up somewhere new, but there were probably worse.
Wildcard
Or find her, slightly less sober, somewhere else.

Bailee Aylmer | oc | x3 last stand
Ai. I know I asked for a vacation, but this is not what I meant. I wanted to go somewhere tropical, with a beach and drinks with little umbrellas in them. Not...this.
[She's clearly sitting in a bus stop shelter and her teeth are chattering.]
New Arrival
She flips her phone shut and leans back against the plexiglass backing to the bus stop and groans. She knows what being drugged looks like. This isn't it. Not a one second blip in space and time and you're at a bus stop in a city you've never been to before. She drags an arm over her face and wriggles her hands into the sleeves of her sweater.
She'd have to leave eventually, figure out how she got here and a way back home, but for now this seemed like the best lit, driest place to be and that was where she would stay until a better plan came along.

Ezio Auditore da Firenze | Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
[ Gone are the sounds and sights and stench of war, the olive groves torched to cinders, the town of Viana strewn with the dead. No longer at the edge of the castle battlements, Ezio stands instead at the edge of the sidewalk, and promptly throws himself back from the curb with an explosive swear of shock.
Passerby seem to ignore him for the most part, just a weirdo in a costume..... y'know, his white robes stained with dirt and gunpowder and men's blood, nbd. Nothing about his surroundings are at all familiar, save for the Coliseum where it rises in the distance, adding to his confusion. Roma? But how?
He looks, for a short moment, like a bird with that confused bob of his white hood, distracted by the unfamiliar noises and strange sights. Then, seeing that someone has laid eyes on him, he approaches with purposeful intent. ]
Excuse me! Wait a moment; what's happened? Where are we?
[ This far from the Tower, that is alllllll in Italian, buddy, terse and hard. He just dropped the Pope's son from a fucking castle, he's in No Mood. ]
carnival - eh, couple weeks later ig
This is...different, than how I remember Carnevale.
[ He glances aside at his companion with a put-upon little grin, then past them to the bright lights of the food stalls here near the entrance, the Tilt-A-Whirl, the Ferris Wheel and other rides beyond. The air is thick with the sticky-sweet scent of candyfloss and roasted meat– recognizable, at least –alongside the low tang of gasoline from the many generators powering lights and rides both. ]small>
Allora...I do not know where to begin. What do you suggest?

Mazikeen Smith | Lucifer
If there's one person who doesn't seem to be too put out by getting bounced into another universe, it's Maze. Where most of the "Chosen" seem to care about why they've been brought there, the demon seems not to. To her, this is more of a playground where she can be more herself than she could in the City of Angels.
But Maze's already intense behaviours shift into something far more and to her, it's more like a high. One that she will not complain of having.
With her blades tucked into the back of her leather pants, she sets out to have some fun. Either by doling out a little torture or by finding a toy to play with in bed.
Network
[ Maze's face shows on the feed once it connects and she looks rather comfortable sitting in what appears to be a high back accent chair. ]
Best way to earn cash quickly here. Go!

Tony Stark | MCU AU
[ Parties are generally easy to navigate, the wheels of a successful networking venture greasing themselves if the liquor’s freely flowing, the food’s decent and the music choice isn’t horrendous. It feels like the entire city’s here, which suits Tony just fine, all the better to pin down anyone who looks interesting and eke useful information out of them.
Who looks useful, however...
The invite said black tie, so he’s suitably dressed, armored sleekly in a dark tux. Best to blend in— there’s no question he belongs here, so he’ll take advantage, first things first, tipping his chin up at the bartender. ]
Gin martini, like, now. And send one over to my new friend, just...there.
[ He means you, random soul across the dance floor who’s caught his eye. That won’t be obvious just yet, not until the waitress brings it by, “From the gentleman at the bar,” indicating Tony as he briefly makes eye contact, before he continues chatting pleasantly with another attendee.
Ball’s in your court. What will you do? ]

(( hmu, I’m pretty easy. Tony here hails from an AU where Ultron was effectively smothered in the cradle, and therefore didn’t get to rope in Wanda and her bro and kill a lot of people, welp.
