Possible Scenarios
Please note that all characters will initially arrive in their assigned housing; they are free to explore the City to their heart's content after that!01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach churning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged!
02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filling the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running?
03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party in the Tower District that spills out its doors in welcome. Obviously, this whole thing is weird and you don't know who your hosts are, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad.
04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences its population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride: choose your sin and be wicked.
05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villain.
06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With its open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank.
07. Network: There's a network device in your pocket - or at least a familiar object that seems to work in mysterious ways. Perhaps you can take to that and ask for a bit of help? Or maybe you'd prefer to have a little fun with all of this. Surely someone will reply.
08. Wild Card:Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!

He noted the rough shape the other man was in, but he's seen both soldiers and adventurers before in just as rough a shape after a fight or two, so he wasn't going to judge his state. All he wanted was answers after all, and if the man was willing to share them despite his own unapproachable looks, all the better.
"Quite." He replied to the question before firing back one of his own. "Do you know where we are?"

John continues. Might as well kill two birds with one stone.
"I'm told it's a different universe altogether from wherever you're from, by someone or something unknown for reasons no one can answer either."

"Wonderful." Yet, the tone and manner in which the word was spoken in definitely let it be known that this situation was anything but wonderful. While he was fully aware that Azeroth wasn't the only world out there, or even the only universe in existence, he'd never actually visited those other worlds the way others had. It would seem his luck on that front had run out and something had decided to force him onto one of those other worlds in one of those alternate universes.
"So we're brought for reasons unknown via a method that is also unknown.. which precludes anyone being capable of leaving this place as well." Yeah, it's definitely obvious in his tone and darkening expression that he really isn't happy about this. At all.
"What is known about this place? What are we supposed to do now that we're here?"

Things that were a little hard to wrap one's head around. Well, if you're from his planet, that is.
"Take the city name literally. Seems each of the districts has some kind of Seven Deadly sin influence and each has what they call a Magistrate ruling over it. As far as what we're supposed to do now? Your guess is as good as mine."

"I see. How long have you been here?" Given the way he had been answering his questions, Genn had the feeling this man was no more part of this world than he was. Which if true, meant he needed to find someone else who'd been here longer, or was more of a native, to get any more in depth answers. Assuming there were actually any to be had that he could gain access to currently.

But it's the reason why they're all there that seems to be the biggest question.
"A few days. You'll also discover time seems to move slower here. Unless it already does where you're from." he answers, glancing down the street where he was headed. "Did you happen to wake up in an unfamiliar place by any chance?"
Might as well tell him that the place was his to stay in for as long as he's here.

"I was awake during my arrival here, and found myself on a rather unfamiliar street. Did you arrive in a different manner?"
It could be interesting to learn how people arrived and see if there was anything to be learned from that, though he suspected if there was, it would have been figured out by now.
