Possible Scenarios
Please note that all characters will initially arrive in their assigned housing; they are free to explore the City to their heart's content after that!01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach churning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged!
02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filling the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running?
03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party in the Tower District that spills out its doors in welcome. Obviously, this whole thing is weird and you don't know who your hosts are, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad.
04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences its population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride: choose your sin and be wicked.
05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villain.
06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With its open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank.
07. Network: There's a network device in your pocket - or at least a familiar object that seems to work in mysterious ways. Perhaps you can take to that and ask for a bit of help? Or maybe you'd prefer to have a little fun with all of this. Surely someone will reply.
08. Wild Card:Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!
Ezio Auditore da Firenze | Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
[ Gone are the sounds and sights and stench of war, the olive groves torched to cinders, the town of Viana strewn with the dead. No longer at the edge of the castle battlements, Ezio stands instead at the edge of the sidewalk, and promptly throws himself back from the curb with an explosive swear of shock.
Passerby seem to ignore him for the most part, just a weirdo in a costume..... y'know, his white robes stained with dirt and gunpowder and men's blood, nbd. Nothing about his surroundings are at all familiar, save for the Coliseum where it rises in the distance, adding to his confusion. Roma? But how?
He looks, for a short moment, like a bird with that confused bob of his white hood, distracted by the unfamiliar noises and strange sights. Then, seeing that someone has laid eyes on him, he approaches with purposeful intent. ]
Excuse me! Wait a moment; what's happened? Where are we?
[ This far from the Tower, that is alllllll in Italian, buddy, terse and hard. He just dropped the Pope's son from a fucking castle, he's in No Mood. ]
carnival - eh, couple weeks later ig
This is...different, than how I remember Carnevale.
[ He glances aside at his companion with a put-upon little grin, then past them to the bright lights of the food stalls here near the entrance, the Tilt-A-Whirl, the Ferris Wheel and other rides beyond. The air is thick with the sticky-sweet scent of candyfloss and roasted meat– recognizable, at least –alongside the low tang of gasoline from the many generators powering lights and rides both. ]small>
Allora...I do not know where to begin. What do you suggest?
Arrival
It's interesting how such an arguably mute colour can demand such attention. At least, when one knows what the colour means, when it's coupled with a red sash and that mark.
Or, when the white is kind of covered in blood.
Actually, all of those things together kind of paints the picture.
The point is, Ratonhnhaké:ton notices the man instantly. The hood, the insignia of the Brotherhood, and the brace with a hidden blade. There's no mistaking it.
Aaaand then he understands nothing the man says, which is a first for him. Which, now that he thinks about it, is kind of surprising. Here they are, in a city where people from all kinds of places and times are taken, and he has always understood every single person. Until now.
He has no idea what language that is.
He frowns, troubled and apologetic at the same time, and shakes his head. ]
I do not understand.
also arrival!
But the more time here, the more it felt normal. She's less weirdly dressed now with hair dyed back to its natural brunette and any number of blue compression tops and dark and light leggings (today, they're black) and a pair of moto boots without heels. She makes her home in the Coliseum District in St. John's, not seeing the point in spending what little money she has to go elsewhere -- at least not for the moment. When approached, she understands what he says.
Her hand on her hip, she leans in slightly and responds with a fluid and comfortable tongue with just as much of a sharp tone in response. ]
For someone asking a question, you could stand be more polite. [ But she understood how he must have felt. Jill sighs, shoulders rising and falling. ] You've only just arrived then, I take it. Did you get your welcome package?
