Possible Scenarios01. A New Arrival: You've just arrived in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a very strange sense of having been displaced. Thankfully, you don't appear to be alone. Here's hoping that person passing by is helpful, and doesn't plan on mugging you or something!
02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Maybe you'll find someone who can help you fight off that shadowy thing that's creeping towards you!
03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party at the Tower by someone who calls themselves the Emperor. Obviously that's weird, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad.
04. Prominence: People have been telling you all about the City influencing your thoughts and feelings. You’re finally getting to experience that. One of the sins is in prominence, and you’re feeling the force of it fully.
05. Welcome to Fight Club: You’ve been dragged unwillingly into the Coliseum and told to fight some of your fellow Chosen to the death. Are you willing to comply? Or would you rather sacrifice yourself
06. Wild Card: Choose your own adventure!
Tony Stark | MCU | Scenario 3
So he found himself at a pretty swank do, sort of like the kind the pretentious and newly-wealthy liked to throw to prove themselves classy. Still, if there was booze, and maybe something interesting to look at on two legs, it was better than cooling his heels off in shared housing, no matter how nice it was.
"So," he said as he turned to whoever was next to him, just to have something to say, "come to inter-dimensional cities with the void often?"

"Does being here a long time count as 'often'?" he returned dryly.

But having been in the City a little over a week and being extended the invitation she felt that obligation to devote at least a couple hours to being a 'teamplayer'. All this would have been far less torturous had Killian not had to work.
Approaching the bar, Emma made an order for a neat scotch before a moment passed and she heard the guy next to her.
Was that a pick-up line?
"First time." Emma paused. Had he said 'realms' in general, then that would have had her answering differently. "Nice starter. How's that line working for you tonight?"

"It's not what I do. Usually, I like to leave those kinds of pursuits to people smarter than I but this time, I wasn't given a choice. It's rubbish, if you ask me." Tony spoke to her and yes, that meant he did ask her.
"What about you?"

Loki | MCU | Scenario 1
But . . . that also makes it fun. He grins, danger and pleasure. One can always find a way to get stronger than the rest ]

He paused as they were about to pass. Something about the strangely dressed man made him ask.
"New here?"

Sure, she's a witch but she's not a bloke. She doesn't have to whip her wand out for every little thing. She's got this.
She gives her jacket a yoink, then a yank and a firm tug. It doesn't work. She repeats it and uses more force. It works but at a great cost.
The momentum flings her back into whatever sorry sod that happens to be behind her. Hopefully, she'll just injure herself. ]

Wanda Maximoff | MCU
Wanda is new here, and has no idea what is going on. Step one, she's decided, is figure out where this place is and how she can get back to the new Avengers facility, where she'd last remembered being. Which is definitely not where this place is.
She's walking along along until she finds either of the following: Someone who looks like they might know what's going on (she'll stop and ask them), or a place that looks like one of those welcome centers in cities - complete with maps, brochures, and all of that tourist-y stuff. As she walks, she keeps her hands close to her sides, just in case she has to quickly hit something or someone with an energy blast.

daenerys targaryen | a song of ice and fire | welcome to fight club
An axe is shoved into her hands, the handle made of some ungainly wood and the blade more on the dull side, and when she is instructed to fight her opponent to the death she nearly recoils in horror.
"I will be doing no such thing," she asserts to her captors, but they leave her in the center of the arena without another word. There is a crowd cheering and roaring, and amid the cacophony Dany raises her voice, tries to shout to be heard. "People! I will not subject myself to such a barbaric act, for your enjoyment...I refuse to kill another! If I am to be your evening's entertainment, then it will be as I am hacked to pieces where I stand, by my opponent!"
She throws the axe down into the dust, to prove her point; she turns her eyes heavenward not long after, hoping to catch a glimpse of black and red-veined wings amidst a plume of fire. Drogon, where are you.

"This way," he told her. "Run."
Fetch Walker | inFAMOUS: Second Son | Scenario 1 + 6
Two more bodies were laid out in the back alley of a brothel in warning. More would die unless they stopped preying on the weak and helpless.
Who was doing this? It had to be someone new to the area, obviously...and that someone was taking the moment to pick pocket some money off a few Johns, too drunk to walk a straight line, let alone notice a few bills missing.

"Watch it!" she cries out, annoyed at the jerk. She pauses, and the huddle of people eventually disperse, moving on without her. In front of her now, however, familiar long blonde hair catches her eye, and for a second she believes she might have actually gone back in time. Back to that time. But she remembers in this place, being dead didn't meant the end of anything.
Faye can't help but stare. It was definitely Julia. She wouldn't forget. Unfortunately for herself, she did seem to forget how to talk in the moment. She manages to walk closer up next to her, surprise not gone from her expression.
A tame "Hey," is all she can muster up.

(Of course she's good at politics. She'd been elected Prime Minister, hadn't she? Although admittedly she'd brainwashed everyone into voting for her, but she likes to think that she'd have been able to do it on her own anyway. Humans are just dumb apes, after all. You only need to know which buttons to press.)
She ignores the nibbles laid out and manages to acquire a drink - something that is somehow purple and probably highly alcoholic. It looks nice, anyway, and tastes delicious, and she's not terribly fussed about the ingredients.
"What do you know about the Emperor?" There's a time to keep your information-gathering subtle, and this isn't it. Missy doesn't care if she draws the attention of the big man himself - in fact, she's curious enough to poke the proverbial hornet's nest with a stick and see what comes out. Though she might have to cover someone else in honey first, so to speak.
GIMME.

Ashe Corven || The Crow City of Angels || Scenarios 3
He might not belong, but what guy turns down free beer? Not one with some of their marbles left. Ashe had gotten his hands on a suit, black with off white pinstripes. It looked nice, and his hair slicked back so he looked a little more respectable. Like he used to for Church. This was not chruch thought, he could tell that easy enough as he made his way in, his green eyes scanning the room of others invited. Quite a party indeed.

It was also her third glass and she sipped it from her barstool lazily with an apathetic stare over the crowd. If nothing else, she had to admit that it was worth coming, just to see everyone else all dressed up and getting drunk, like their lives weren't all a little chaotic and messy.

But, he went to the party and sat at the bar, eyeing the attendees with a rather detached look. Maybe later he'd seek out a certain Girl for a dance. Until then he tipped his glass for a drink as a new face meandered by, taking in his surroundings.
"It's not as elaborate as some of the others you'll get the chance to attend." Caius spoke, lifting a hand to get the bartender's attention.

Dorian Pavus | Dragon Age | Scenario 1
He looked around at the foreign architecture, and after trying to feel if he'd somehow been dragged back into the Fade, Dorian marched off to find someone who could tell him where he was.
no subject
"Dorian!" he called, and then came up to him. For Dorian this was a strange Dalish elf with half of one arm missing. His neat shirt the sleeve of that arm pinned up to avoid the cloth from just hanging. "Aren't you a sight for sore eyes," he spoke with a smirk. It was always easier to lead with flirting when it came to Dorian. It eased the tension in his body and nearly always made Dorian take on that tone of voice he loved to hear.

Dorian's clothing made him hard to miss, at least for Fenris. For him, Dorian stuck out as much as he, himself, did. The mage might not have white hair or pointy ears, but those clothes screamed Thedas, and more specifically, Tevinter. It was enough to make him stop and watch Dorian for moment with a mix of distrust, curiosity and sympathy. Watch, not stare unapologetically, definitely not. Nope. He also wasn't glaring in the least bit; he never glared.
