An OOC note for whatever the hell Ace is doing.

OK, this just started out as a kinda personal thing, but because of the recent events this might be something other people may wish to use as back drop or interact with.

Before the Rift Event, Ace went to the Island to see about working out a 'treaty' of sorts with some of the Islanders. During the even where the Island first appeared Ace had encountered on of the leaders and convinced him on taking a different path other than pushing all the humans out. It is that guy Ace sought out and (along with Aramis) sorted out a pact of sorts.

Well it turned out that he had to call in the favour much earlier than he expected.

So what does this mean for all of y'all?

Well right now there are roughly about a hundred demons of the more human like status camped out in a building across from the street from the brothel in the Red Light District. They are helping in the continued defense of both locations as well as running search and rescue and scavenging operations in small-ish teams of about 15 but there is always a human (Chosen or Citizen) running with them. They are relatively well behaved, if gruff and won't stand being provoked much. They will also mention Ace by name if the conversation goes that way.

Ace, Devi, and Charlotte are running these teams into Shanty Town to establish another base of operations for rescue and supply. I'll let their players chime in on what that means but it could be a point of entry to threads.

So that is what is going on and your characters might get reports of other demons from the locals or whatnot, run with it if ya wish. And if you have any questions ping me here, on plurk, or on the discord channel.
