Possible Scenarios 01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach chruning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged! 02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filling the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running? 03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party at the Tower that spills out its doors in welcome, by someone who calls themselves the Emperor. Obviously, that's weird, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad. 04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences it's population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride. Choose your choice of sin and be wicked. 05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villian. 06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With its open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank. 07. Wild Card: Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!

[Blaine doesn't move except to press his face a bit more against David and breathe him in.]

Everyone kept trying to convince me you weren't real, that it was silly of me to be hung up on someone I imagined. I even went looking for you. I went to England but there was no Cutler's Grammar School in Sheffield. It never existed in that reality. When I wouldn't let it go, they took me to doctors who told me I was crazy and started to medicate me. I stopped talking about it but everything there felt so fake and...

[He stops, takes a breath, he isn't sure why he just dumped that all on David. He suddenly feels very exposed.] Never-

Nevermind. [He moves as if he's going to pull away]

[David does turn then, keeping a hand on Blaine's arm so he doesn't go to far. His other hand comes up to touch Blaine's cheek.]

You remembered.

[It's not a question. He'd gathered as much from Blaine's network post. It's still...heartbreaking.]

[Blaine keeps his eyes downward for a bit and closes them when David touches his face. He tilts his head a bit into the touch and takes another deep breath.]

Yeah... [He knows it wasn't a question but he still confirms. He opens his eyes and considers David's face.]

You left too, didn't you? I guess you forgot...?

[His thumb slides gently over Blaine's cheekbone.]

I did. I...I'm still not sure I remember everything.

[Blaine looks at his eyes and lets himself feel a bit lost in them.]

As long as you remember me...

[He wants to say 'always' but that clearly isn't true.]

I've missed you. Since I've been back. I've missed you so much.

[There's not anything else he could really say that would be as true. His entire life back home is in shambles because of how much he missed David and this place.

He looks over David then.]

At least either of us are still teenagers this time...

[David tilts his head, curious.]

This time?

[He nods but doesn't explain]

So do you have a boyfriend or a, uh, husband back home?

[It's weird that he'll just jump right to that, but it is something he wants to know.]

[It's not weird at all. David wants to ask the same. Instead, he laughs dryly.]

No. No, not currently.

You?

[Because he must, right? How could he not?]

[He shakes his head]

Kurt and I... We didn't click anymore when I came back, not in a romantic sense. He moved to New York and met a guy named Elliot. He's really hot and they're really happy, from what I can tell.

There's no one else that has even close after that. [Maybe a one night stand after open mic night here and there, but no real connection. Even the lingering feelings he had for Kurt have muted into comfortable and supportive friendship.]

Oh, Blaine.

[It's not pity in his voice. It's empathy, and a desire for more joy in the life of someone he...loved? Still.]

I'm sorry. You...I'm sorry.

[His hand came to rest on Blaine's shoulder for just a moment, and then he turned away to the tea again.]

Shall we sit? There's...so much to talk about.

[Blaine nods and moves to help him get the tea somewhere they can sit. Eventually they are both settled and have their tea. He sips at his carefully while watching David.]

What did you want to talk about?

[David can't help smiling, settling himself close enough to Blaine that they are not quite touching but could easily be.]

Everything? I hardly know. Tell me...tell me about what happened when you went back?

[Blaine frowns a bit and gets quiet as he thinks how to describe it.]

You mean where one night I went to sleep like normal and then next day I woke up with memories of a pocket reality where I was friends with wizards and mutants and had an adorable boyfriend who kept aging without me?

[Another head tilt.]

What do you mean, aging without you?

[Blaine raises his brow a bit]

Which part? [A pause] Unless you don't remember? Right before we both disappeared, you showed up but older. I... I went home briefly too, lived a bit. I didn't remember then so Kurt and I... [He shifts uncomfortably] You don't remember any of that?

[He frowns, brow furrowed, trying to remember. Some things are still fuzzy, but usually a reminder brings them back.]

No, I...I don't. The last I remember, I was still...what? Twenty?

[Blaine shakes his head and then, very suddenly, he laughs a bit. The sounds is that sort of strained, 'I'm laughing because this sucks' variety.]

Oh man, This place is so... [A pause, as he considers his words] Messed up.

[Then, as he calms himself down and considers David he rests his chin on his hand.] So forget about all of that. It didn't happen to you. I bet they took you from a time before that or they rewrote your memories in some way. You said not all of them came back right?

They're returning slowly. When someone mentions something, I can usually remember. [He shifts a little, his knee nudging against Blaine. Not being able to trust his own mind is something he hasn't yet come to grips with.]

This is the first time someone's said something I couldn't connect to my own memory.

[Blaine sighs a bit but he doesn't really want to keep talking about this.] It doesn't matter. [If David hadn't experienced it, there didn't seem to be a need to keep dwelling on it.]

We can keep talking about Ohio instead and I'd love to hear what you've been doing.

Tell me about Ohio? If it's all right. I've been catching up on so much with people here but it's...been so much longer for both of us.

[Blaine braces himself again.]

I woke up with these memories and unable to process them. I started showing signs of depression because of it, pulling away from people, not paying attention in school, not engaging with competitions - that sort of thing. Kurt eventually got me to tell him what was going on and... [He winces a bit] Poor guy. He had no idea how to help but suggested therapy. It took forever for me to open up to the therapist though and when I did she diagnosed me with a dissociative disorder and started prescribing medication. All of them had terrible side effects. I ended up in and out of hospitals...

It made me realize just why they wipe your memories and make it all seem like a dream. When they don't it really messes up your life. I had a really hard time realizing I was experiencing my real life there. I kept expecting to wake up here.

[David reaches for his hand like it's the most natural thing in the world.]

Oh, love. I'm so sorry. I...I don't know what else to say, but I am sorry.

[Blaine turns his hand to take David's and relaxes a bit at the touch.]

It's all right. I'm back now. And you're here. We're together again.
