Possible Scenarios 01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach chruning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged! 02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filling the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running? 03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party at the Tower that spills out its doors in welcome, by someone who calls themselves the Emperor. Obviously, that's weird, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad. 04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences it's population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride. Choose your choice of sin and be wicked. 05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villian. 06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With its open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank. 07. Wild Card: Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!

[David notes his lack of answer, but he can't fault Blaine for it. It wasn't an easy thing to talk about.]

I enjoy it, at least. I'm not sure how good I am.

[Blaine chuckled softly.] You're brilliant. [He says so with total confidence.]

You're also still older than I am. I just turned 28. One day, we'll wake up here and you'll be younger just to mess with us. [He's joking but he also thinks it might very well happen.]

[David smirks, shifting a bit to lean closer to Blaine, shoulders touching.]

I wouldn't be surprised. Then you can be the cradle-robber.

I'd like that. It's be a nice change of pace.

[He slouched down a bit so that he could put his head on David's shoulder.] Was there anything else you wanted to talk about?

I don't know.

[He leans his cheek against Blaine's hair.]

Do you reckon there's a reason we both came back?

Maybe it's because we're meant to be.

[It sounds silly but trying to be a hopeless romantic feels good.]

[It does sound silly, but David doesn't argue.]

Maybe it is.

[He's quiet a moment, and then]

"The world owes us nothing. It promises less.
Call it: freedom. Free will. Or Wednesday."

[Blaine smiles at hearing David recite. He hums softly and then pulls up so that he can look at David.] If there's nothing else for us to talk about now, we could go back to kissing?

[It makes him sound so young and inexperienced to word things that way, but he likes establishing consent and going in that direction with full agreement.]

You could even show me the bedroom.

It's a lovely bedroom.

[He smiles as well, a catch in his breath.]

If you're sure?

I haven't seen you in years. I'm sure. As long as you are...

[He could understand if David wanted to wait. If they were going to be mature, they should be smart about this and wait to get to know each other again. Blaine just really didn't want to be mature.]

I'm very sure.

[He knew the same, but things in the City were different, and something Draco had said about Charles stuck with him in this moment.

Standing, he offered a hand to Blaine.]

[Blaine takes his hand and feels butterflies growing in his stomach. He goes with David easily but for a moment wonders again if this isn't just a very good dream. The thought makes his head feel a bit fuzzy and overwhelmed but his legs easily take him to the bedroom.]

[When they get to the bedroom, David stops in the doorway, turning to Blaine with a tentative smile. His hands move to Blaine's hips and tug him gently closer.]

I...I'm not as young as I was.

[offnote]

Nor am I. [He points out. He still feels himself disconnecting but having David reach out and pull him closer snaps him out of it a bit. He looks up at David's face and then reaches up to touch his cheek.] We shouldn't expect too much from each other right now. I don't want to disappoint you.

I don't want to disappoint you either.

[He takes a deep breath and tilts his head.] But I reckon moving forward is the only way to do anything at all, so that's a risk we'll have to take.

[offnote]

[Blaine doesn't respond verbally. Instead, he leans closer and kisses David again.]

[David leans into the kiss, trying to keep things slow again, let Blaine set the pace. He seems more nervous, more unsure.]

[offnote]

[Blaine starts with kissing and staying near. The longer he can taste and feel David the easier it is to convince himself this is real. Finally, he pulls back a bit and considers David as he trails his hands over his arms.]

I want to see you... [He mutters a bit before moving his hands to start to remove David's shirt.]

[David helps by pulling his shirt from his trousers.]

Only so long as I get the same. [His hands move to Blaine's sweater, tugging it upward.]

[Blaine lets the garment go easily. His own frame is still fit despite himself but he had thick, dark hair over his stomach and lining a bit of a his chest. Once the sweater is pushed aside he reaches out and trails a hand over David's arms.]

[David's fingers move to find that hair, so different to what he remembers.

He's still pale and slim, though he's filled out a bit, and though he's not precisely athletic, he still keeps active, still rides his bike, so he's fit.]

Beautiful.

[Blaine can't help the smile that comes to his lips at that.]

You too... [He doesn't really want to keep talking about it though. He wants to explore, taste, and touch. He pushes David gently towards his bed, wanting him to lie back own it so that they can work his trousers off.]

Do you have any supplies or anything?

[postponing_death]

[David still takes direction very well. He sits on the bed and toes off his shoes before sliding up a bit to lie back.]

There's lube in the nightstand. I...I'm afraid I haven't got condoms.

[He hadn't exactly been planning for this, though he's eager enough now, fumbling with his belt and then unfastening his trousers.]

[Blaine pauses for a moment there.] We could... wait for that? Do something just as fun but not as dangerous?

[He's careful with his infrequent one night stands but he still doesn't want to risk things.

As they talk his hands work to unfasten David's clothes. His fingers fumble a bit out of nerves that he isn't otherwise showing.]

[David is the same, and he doesn't want to put Blaine at risk, so he nods.]

Yes, that's...that's fine. I just want to touch you.

[He leans up to catch Blaine's face between his hands and kiss him, helping with his own trousers before reaching for Blaine's.]
