State of the City : 'Nubivagant'

WEEK 59 : ‘Nubivagant’
February 26 - March 03

This week, citizens and Chosen will feel very light indeed. It’s probably attributed to the success of the Valentine’s Party and everything that followed, hopefully for the better. If not, then it’s obviously a good thing that the entire City feels like it’s floating amongst the clouds. Some people might find themselves forgetful, while others might simply be happy and carefree.

(Players will decide how and to what degree their characters are affected by this and all of the prominence shifts to come. It is entirely optional to be involved with the prominence events. This will last for one in-game week and end on August 22. Please remember that we are on a 3:1 day ratio!)

State of the City At Large:

The Weather
The snow from last week is still lingering, but it seems as though things are definitely warming up. There’s a very large cloud on the horizon, and for most of February 26, it will rain heavily over every part of the City.

The rest of the week looks to be relatively nice, albeit a little cloudy.

Crime
The usual gang activity is kicking up in Shantytown, but the police say they have their eye on it. Maybe don’t go out too late at night.

There’s a group of young hooligans harassing individuals wandering around the worse areas of the Gardens of Pleasure, but they don’t appear to be harmful at all. Just annoying.

No one can really pinpoint the source of it all, but every night at midnight, there’s a very strange stirring of energy for about five minutes all across the City. For those out and about around this hour, keep an eye out for an influx of shadow demons.

Rumours
Security around the Tower’s immediate area remains tight and probably will stay that way for the foreseeable future. Just in case.

Citizens are talking about how weird the weather’s getting of late. Some particularly strange individuals are blaming the Magistrates, though there’s no real reason why they’d think it was them.

Additional Notes
Remember the effects of this week’s rain! The details can be found here.
