Possible Scenarios 01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach chruning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged! 02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filling the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running? 03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party at the Tower that spills out its doors in welcome, by someone who calls themselves the Emperor. Obviously, that's weird, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad. 04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences it's population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride. Choose your choice of sin and be wicked. 05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villian. 06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With its open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank. 07. Wild Card: Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!

Penny had heard the muggers voice from a block away. He fucking hated hearing shit inside his head. It was none of his damn business but as he walked closer he found that it was more difficult to ignore. He remembered those girls screams and he could have sworn he'd heard them again.

Feeling incredibly pissed off he paused at the corner with the mugger, just in time to see the kid produce some sort of shield.

"Don't just fucking stand there, run." The hell was this kid thinking?

[parrishing]

Adam slid a hesitant glance to the newcomer, then exhaled. Despite his hitching voice and protests, his mind was oddly clear; he wasn't nearly as panicky as he could have been, all things considered. Still nervous, obviously - a knife was worse than a fist - but he was no stranger to violence.

He frowned briefly - he'd only just managed to get the space to actually get away - but he wasn't about to argue. He didn't bother regarding the mugger or the knife; instead, Adam merely slid against the wall, darting towards Penny and past as he burst into a bit of a run, though he did stop a few metres behind the larger man.

Penny faced the mugger and with Adam out of the way he let his misplaced rage soar. He raised both of his hands, drawing in each finger before he sent an invisible blast towards the mugger, knocking his ass to the ground hard.

He then turned towards Adam and began walking down the sidewalk as if nothing happened. He figured the mugger would be out for a while. "Come on. Don't just stand there with your mouth open." Penny didn't care where Adam went but it was probably a good idea to go somewhere that was away from the guy that was trying to mug him.

At the very least, he didn't bother opening his mouth throughout the display, so Penny's remark was merely noted with a faint tip of his head. Weirdly, the sudden display of magic didn't even make him bat an eye. Or maybe Penny realised that already.

He too turned abruptly and began to follow along. "Tell me you know what's going on here."

Penny looked over at him and rolled his shoulders in a shrug. He was pissed off, it was loud here and no matter how hard he tried he couldn't leave this fucking place.

"Not a fucking clue but it looks like we're stuck to the city." Which he knew intimately.

[parrishing]

"Interesting. How do you know that?" Adam asked. He wasn't discounting the notion by any stretch of the imagination, but he'd like to know where it came from. Any tidbit of information, however small, was useful, in his mind.

[hearingvoices]

"I've checked." It was all Penny was going to give him. He didn't know Adam and he didn't trust the kid with information about himself. Not with a moth freak trying to kill him.

[parrishing]

He just shot Penny a slightly dark, sideways look at that, stopping in his forward progression; it was equal parts exasperated and a silent what the fuck.

"Right," he replied, Southern accent coming out hard as the vowels dragged out. If that was how this was going to be, then he could be just as angry. He didn't actually need anyone to give him the details on this place. He had ears of his own; they'd give him all the details he needed. "I'll take that into consideration, then. Thanks for the save. See you around, maybe."

"Yeah, whatever. Try not to get pinned down again." He turned to look at Adam before continuing forward.

He found it hard to reach out and care about people.

[parrishing]

"I'll do that," he replied, positive that it wouldn't happen again. Even if it did, he had Cabeswater on his side, Adam decided as he glanced around, opting instead to turn down another side street. There was a great glass tower looming nearby. He'd figure his way out from there.
