City Event - Fundraiser Part Deux!
Yes, fellow citizens, the time has come to break out your wallets and give until it hurts...again. What with all the angsty, painful events of the last month, the City as a whole needs and excuse to let loose and party like it's 1999 (the Prince version, not the Will Smith one.)
The Highgarden Shelter is hosting a Masquerade Ball!
Each character will be getting an invitation delivered by men in masks and tuxedos (who may or may not be assistants of the Hanged Man's.She'll never tell.) This is what the citizens will be greeted with:

The invitation will explain that there are several residents of the city who lost their homes due to the rain and flooding. This event is to help raise money to rebuild houses for them. A cause that will help many get back on their feet again.
There will be another auction, this time in the form of a Bachelor/Bachelorette auction. Anyone is free to participate, but it will be limited to just two characters for everyone. (Otherwise there will be no one to vote). The people put up for auction will tell Margaery in advance if they are interested in agreeing to a date with the winner on a separate day or are more comfortable for spending the rest of the evening with the winner. Those who only want to spend the rest of the ball with the buyer will have their starting bid lower than those who wish to set up a date. (Below there will be a sign up comment).
This event is black tie and everyone will be expected to wear a mask or costume. People can come in formal wear if they prefer, but everyone MUST have a mask. There will be a demasking at midnight so you will be able to see just who you were dancing with.
The event will take place on the 17th (ooc: Oct 3).
