State of the City : Sloth
WEEK 24 : Sloth
June 19 - June 25
”It’s a Write-Off.”
Perhaps because things for the last little while have been so exhausting for the City and its citizens, Chosen included, but this week brings with it a sense of boredom and lethargy. There are things that could be done, but given the general wetness of the City and the various closures, do they really need to be? We think not. And the citizens of the City appear to agree.
(Players will decide how and to what degree their characters are affected by this and all of the dominance shifts to come. It is entirely optional to be involved with the prominence events. This will last for one in-game week and end on July 28. Also, a reminder that we are on a 3:1 day ratio!)
State of the City At Large:
Questions? Like to arrange a meeting with an NPC? Fire away! Additionally, feel free to use this as a plotting post for the upcoming week.

State of the City At Large:
- Weather in the City is finally evening out slightly, with light drizzles and the odd hailstorm punctuating things this week. If you get lucky, you might catch a day with a proper bit of sunlight to it, but don’t expect it to get too pleasant out. But humid? Yes.
- As described in this announcement, there is now a river running down what used to be a few streets of the Coliseum, Red Lantern, and Shantytown districts. Most of the puddles have dried up, but it appears as though these ones were unwilling for whatever reason. In fact, it appears that the City itself has accommodated the changes quite well, and no one has even batted an eye short of the standard grumbling that people give when their routes need to change.
- Due to the flooding and apparent structural damage, the Coliseum itself remains closed for any battles this week. Any fighters will be notified of the closure and will be mildly compensated for the inconvenience.
- Apparently the animals that have been flooding in from the forest are settling in. A combination of both smaller and larger animals are hanging around the Gardens of Pleasure primarily, though they aren’t entirely making nuisances of themselves. For the most part, they’re quite content to simply make themselves at home on light standards and rooftop patios, eyeing everyone who passes, but they will defend themselves if someone gets in their way.
Questions? Like to arrange a meeting with an NPC? Fire away! Additionally, feel free to use this as a plotting post for the upcoming week.

Idea for side-work; Cala, think Boyd would let her pick up some shifts at the bar?
