State of the City At Large:

The Weather
Now that the ice is starting to recede, the sun is welcome to do its job again. Over the next week, temperatures rise back to the summer highs that were being seen before, with a few extra thunderstorms to compensate for the rapid rise in air moisture.

Crime
As the ice frees up water ways to bring much needed supplies back into the city, crime is rising. Deliveries are getting stopped and stolen, and it’s heavily affecting how quickly the grocery stores are being restocked.

Rumors
People are largely pleased to be out of what seems to be the worst of it. There’s a tension of hostility towards anyone who would suggest rocking the proverbial boat, but most souls are simply looking to rebuild and find some peace

Mostly it's going to be warehouses that have supplies of food, meds, that sort of thing. He might also target a few high-value goods like alcohol. He'll move into stealing more... worrying contraband later :D

Edward would like to meet with The Sun/Malvina if possible, they've been chit-chatting and flirting and he'd like to see where that goes. Mostly he wants to talk business but he'd like to make good on his offer of at least bringing her some nice wine or something and seeing where things lead.

He has ulterior motives to hopefully get information, but overall he'd like to stay on her good side in hopes that she can help him and his friends in the future should they need/ask.

Of course if she has work for him he'd be interested to learn how he can best use his talents and his ship.

Once Edward gets it repaired, there is the idea to possibly go out and sail it around as well. But that won't happen just yet, the Ice will have probably done a number on the Jackdaw. But exploring and probably testing limits is definitely on the horizon
