Possible Scenarios
Please note that all characters will initially arrive in their assigned housing; they are free to explore the City to their heart's content after that!01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach churning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged!
02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filling the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running?
03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party in the Tower District that spills out its doors in welcome. Obviously, this whole thing is weird and you don't know who your hosts are, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad.
04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences its population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride: choose your sin and be wicked.
05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villain.
06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With its open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank.
07. Network: There's a network device in your pocket - or at least a familiar object that seems to work in mysterious ways. Perhaps you can take to that and ask for a bit of help? Or maybe you'd prefer to have a little fun with all of this. Surely someone will reply.
08. Wild Card:Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!

From anyone else, the words should sound like a mocking challenge. But oddly enough, from Lucifer they don't. If anything, he sounds like someone trying to tempt her into fulfilling a secret desire.
no subject
Because she was a girl.
Lucifer was going to quickly find out that he didn't need powers to influence her. Airy was very susceptible to those around her.
no subject
It's been a while, now that Lucifer thinks about it, since he made a Deal. Somehow, his favour-collecting has fallen to the wayside in recent times. But if he's going to get his suit wet, well. Why not get something out of it?
"But please! Ladies first," he says, gesturing to the tank.
no subject
"Alright." Owing someone a favor didn't feel like a big deal. For one, she probably would have done whatever he asked anyway. So it was fine. "A favor but what exactly do I get? Because if it's just you getting wet-" She looked down his frame before meeting his gaze. "Then that's okay but not great because I can probably just dump water on your head." He was attractive and would probably look attractive wet but Airy wanted to understand exactly what the deal here was.
Not that Airy was keen on using her magic for something so ridiculously silly but she would. Because it's fun and this city needs more uncomplicated fun.
no subject
Clearly, this isn't just a man who's attractive. This is a man who is attractive and knows it. Whether or not this is a good thing is another question entirely.
He lingers for a moment, letting her get a good look. But then the display is over, and it's time for business, as he claps his hands together and looks at her, inquiring. "But I'm sure we can come to an arrangement. So tell me: what will you bargain for? A little strip tease, perhaps? Some other interesting substances you'd like to see dripped over my body?"
no subject
Okay, she did look at him. She saw no reason not too but he was a little too full of himself. Confidence was sexy but over confidence was alarming. This was a guy who Airy didn't want to let her guard completely down around. She'd fuck up enough and Lucifer had 'ways-to-fuck-up' written all over that charming smile.
"And no. If we do anything like that it'll be after you buy me a drink or dinner or both." Which wasn't a no. It was just a ... not right now. Getting laid wasn't really difficult for Airy. "Here's the bet. I'll let you go first. We each get three throws. Whoever hits the most win's and owes the other a favor or however you want to phrase it." Airy already knew what she was going to ask him to do because she thought he'd enjoy it.
"If we both hit three, then we both have to do what the other wants." She held out her hand to him. "You up for the challenge?"
[ooc: random note cuz I know very little about the Lucifer series but Airy is a direct descendant of God in her world <- capital G. He's naturally charming and can hook her but I'm not sure his powers would work on her. That said, she will 100% tell him whatever he asks cuz that's just the kinda person she is.]

"You do like to drive a hard bargain, don't you?" Lucifer says. But he doesn't sound annoyed; if anything he sounds approving. He does always appreciate someone willing to ruthlessly negotiate. "I prefer deals to bets, but you've managed to come up with quite an exciting little scenario, haven't you?" He grins, and holds out a hand to shake on it. "You have a deal."
The grin turns to a smirk, with a hint of a predatory edge. "But I should warn you. I'm not likely to miss."
Angelic reflexes and all that, after all. If she didn't want to owe a favour, well, she might have to start planning to play dirty.
[ooc: angels and humans with divine influences are immune to Lucifer's desire mojo thing, so I'd say that she wouldn't be affected!]
\o/
Her smile tilted in a smirk. "Neither am I. So this should be interesting."
She might cheat, just a little bit. It wasn't really cheating either. It was using her God given abilities in the name of a bet and she expected this man to do the same. "By the way, my name is Airy."
She skipped forward and leaned over the counter to speak to the man about getting into the tank. She even went as far as to explain their little wager and by the end of the short conversation, the man working the booth was wishing Airy luck. She kind of wished she hadn't worn a skirt today but at least she was wearing cute underwear.
no subject
He waits off to the side while she speaks to the man, hands in pockets. He might take a moment to admire that short skirt, while he's at it.
no subject
Airy jogged back to him really fast. "Wait. Morningstar... as in the sun... like son... And Lucifer as in the Left hand of God?" Once he confirmed that his name was in fact, Lucifer Morningstar, Airy jogged back to the tank and hopped inside.
"Let's see how well you do."
She was absolutely going to cheat. She'll give him the first through but have fun trying to hit the target with an invisible wall in the wall.
no subject
And when she climbs into the tank, the first throw - the one she decided to give him - comes through hard and fast, striking the target dead on.
no subject
In general, Airy didn't like upsetting people.
She lifted herself back up to the seat and readied for another throw though this time she reached out with her powers and placed an invisible shield between Lucifer and his target. "Come on. Hit it again."
no subject
Left Hand of God. Humans had insulted him in many, many ways over the centuries and millennia of their existence. The idea of Lucifer being His obedient puppet, in any shape or form, was almost more insulting than all the rest of them.
"With pleasure," he says, before hurling another ball at the target. And it would have hit, right on the bullseye. It should have hit. And yet somehow the ball just seemed to bounce off in mid-air, missing entirely.
"What?!" he says, staring at the target.
no subject
She leaned forward and looked over at the target. "I thought you were going to hit me back into the water?" Her tone was teasing while her bright azure blue eyes invited him to try again.
"You have one more throw and then it's my turn."
Airy had planned to ask for one thing at the end of this bet but she was slowly coming up with another idea. Lucifer was different and she wanted to know about more about. "Come on Lucifer. You can do it." And this time Airy wasn't going to mess with his chances.
no subject
Something was going on here. Someone was playing games with the Devil, and not the fun kind.
Eyes narrowed, he moves to throw again - and one again, the ball comes through hard and fast and dead on the bullseye. But this time he's watching closely, trying to see if he can figure out what happened with the last one.
no subject
She lifted herself out of the water and climbed free of the tank. Her skirt and shirt clung to her frame as she squeezed water out of her hair.
"You're up Mr. Morningstar." Airy smiled at him. "Ready to get wet?" She wasn't planning to tell him what she did... not unless he asked.
no subject
"You did something," he accuses, glaring at her through narrowed eyes. "I don't know how, and I don't know what, but I did not miss. You cheated."
And really, that's what irks him about all of this. It would be one thing if he'd missed, fair and square. He might have even purposefully put a little less effort into aiming the last one, just to bring a little interest and excitement into their game. But bringing cheating into this? That was just rude.
no subject
"Surely you can think of ways to distract me and get me to miss."
It was totally fair in her book.
no subject
"But fine," he says, as he starts kicking off his shoes and removing his jacket. If he's going to end up dunked in the water, no reason to mess up all of his clothes, after all. "Never let it be said, Little Miss Cheater, that the Devil backs out of a deal."
And with that he climbs into the tank, arms folded and lounging casually on the seat as if he were casually sunbathing on the beach.
no subject
"Ready?" She didn't wait for his answer. She threw the first ball and it hit the target without difficulty. Airy was really good at these stupid carnival games and her aim had been improving ever since she started doing jobs with the Rooks.
"You do look good wet."
no subject
He was all cool and seemingly above it all as he sat in the tank, waiting for her to make her throw. When it hits, he even manages to fall in a way that looks graceful...with only a little bit of uncoordinated flailing. (He will, of course, vehemently deny doing any flailing at all. The Devil does not flail.)
But when he emerges from the water, it's time for the full on Mr Darcy treatment. He purposefully comes out slowly, flicking his hair back and letting the water linger as it runs all over him. Then he leans with one hand against the glass, posing like he's in a raunchy photoshoot, and smirks right at her with an intend, predatory gaze.
"But of course," he purrs. "Did you ever doubt I would?" And then he's back on the seat, lounging like a porn star and reaching up to undo a few buttons when she takes her next shot.
Distracted yet, Airy?
no subject
All other considerations or thoughts vanished. Lucifer looked like he belonged on the set of a porn movie and Airy was staring. Damn it! She didn't want to stare at him but at the same time, he was very nice to look at.
She swallowed and cleared her throat. "I would never doubt you." That also sounded kind of lame but Airy didn't really care. She was kind of lame so it worked out. "So, this is your big plan? Strip? I've seen naked men before you know." Her recent antics made nudity a common thing but that didn't make Lucifer's display any less distracting.
"You're going to have to try harder than that." She turned towards the target, threw and somehow managed to hit it. "Oh I thought I was going to eat those words." Airy placed her hand over her chest. She could feel the pressure from their little 'game'.
no subject
And...there he goes, off into the tank again. He feels another flash of irritation under the water, but before he comes up he quickly hides it under languid smiles and long-limbed, enticing poses. He's turning the charm up to eleven, now, reeling her in. Or at least, he's trying to. The fact that she might be immune to his charms hasn't occured to him, especially since she seems like she's affected.
"How hard would you like me to try?" he purrs, leaning fully into the innuendo as he climbs back onto the seat. More buttons come undone, until his shirt is completely undone. For a moment his hand hovers above his belt...and then he stops. "Perhaps if you miss I'll show you a little more. A nice little consolation prize for you," he adds, with a smirk.
no subject
Bright blue eyes watched him with interest and then she turned towards the target and threw. Her aim stayed true and for the last time, Airy had sent Lucifer plummeting into the tank of water.
She was a little worried as he broke the surface this time. She had won and might have also made the devil angry with her. That probably wasn't the best situation to be in but if she survived Erik's anger, she can probably survive Lucifer's. "You alright?" She asked once he was out of the water and wouldn't have an issues hearing her.
no subject
But as he comes out of the tank, there's nothing in his bearing or expression that suggests imminent violence. The Devil he may be, but he's not about to hurt her for the little trick she just pulled.
"A deal's a deal," he says through clenched teeth. "And while some people might like to bend the rules, my word is my bond. I...owe you a favour."
