Intro: Lestat de Lioncourt
Hello all!
You may know me as Vanished, the person who plays Ronan Lynch (burningdream). I'm so looking forward to all the adventures we will weave now that I've got Lestat up here too! Feel free to drop me a line if you have any specific threads/situations you'd like to explore!

It's interesting because I actually pulled Lestat from a point in canon where he isn't yet turned. I intend to apply later to update him, make him become a vampire and face all the ensuring tragedy hahaah. Perhaps Wolf could be the one who does it?? One day....

I'm in no rush for the turning, but it'll be awesome to hear if it'll be possible. In the meantime, could you tell me a bit about what kind of vampire Lestat will become? His specific powers and limitations, that kind of thing?

As a baby vampire, Lestat will be pretty much comatose during the day. He can wake up if he has to but he'll be mostly useless. The City might affect that, too.
He'll need to feed pretty much daily to keep from going into bloodlust. He'll be hungry and moody and everyone will look delicious. Fresh human blood is best, but he can also drink packaged blood, animal blood, or even blood from the butcher shop to take the edge off. His bite is narcotic, and he has a hypnotic gaze to help with hunting. He'll also be stronger, faster, and tougher than humans, though he'll develop more as he ages. At first, it won't be quite so much.
Wolf is from an old bloodline, so Lestat's powers might be random. Wolf can actually turn into a wolf, for example, which isn't a common power, but another ability could turn up at random.
He will burn on holy ground. It's not pretty. He'll also sink in water, because of his body density and lack of air in his system. So he can cross running water, it just sucks because he'll sick like a cinderblock. Some legends have truth to them.
Lestat's reflection would still show up at first, but as he gets older, depending on how much of his humanity and sanity he retains, it will start to fade. Or, if he loses his sanity right away and goes berserk, it will vanish completely as his soul shatters. This is the ugly part: It's Wolf's responsibility to watch over Lestat for his first few years, and kill him if he goes insane. Sorry, Lestat. :/ However, Wolf is a very responsible vampire!Daddy, and will do things like give Lestat his own blood and stalk him to make sure that he doesn't go revenant and start murdering indiscriminately, and Wolf has already gotten two vampire children into their thirties without going crazy, so that's a good sign?
Just as a heads-up, Wolf's species has been deliberately designed to be brutal and unpleasant to start, so...don't feel bad if this doesn't sound like much fun, but let me know what you think!
