Possible Scenarios01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach chruning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged!
02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filling the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running?
03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party at the Tower that spills out its doors in welcome, by someone who calls themselves the Emperor. Obviously, that's weird, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad.
04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences it's population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride. Choose your choice of sin and be wicked.
05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villian.
06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With its open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank.
07. Wild Card: Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!

That was always his response to this 'snow' thing, always has been. It didn't really bother him per se, but it was inconvenient as fuck. So he had found himself a suitable heavy duster and wore a flannel hoody under. The later currently pulled up over his head. He held his phone in one hand, scrolling through the network posts when he rounded the corner just in time for her eloquent assessment of what should be done to the City on certain level.
Ace recognized her immediately from their initial conversation on the network when he had first arrived. And honestly he frowned a bit of the state of her undress. Tucking the phone into his back pocket he then started to shrug out of the duster. Yes there was a bit of apprehension but the girl was in trouble.
"Emma, here." The coat spread to be placed over her shoulders if she wished. "Why in the hell are you out here like this?"
The tone not scolding but more questioning. After all, after his initial arrival the subsequent were less than dramatic. Much less in the equivalent of a speedo in a blizzard.

"It fits and I think that there is a line for complaints." He says it in such deadpan manner.
"Ain't no point in standing out here, let's find someplace so you can at least warm up."
There was a hesitance before he draped an arm over her shoulder and pulled her close, shielding her from the worse of the wind. "Are you ok besides freezing to death?"
no subject
She blinked when he put his arm around her. She moved his arm off, too proud to let some stranger touch her, even to save her from frostbite. "I am. I'm going to need new clothes again. I'll bet the City cleaned out my old apartment."

He shifted and pulled to the opening of the trench coat with the other hand. If he was offended in some way, which he wasn't, it wouldn't show. Nudging her gently before he started walking, being careful not to out pace the girl and not further than arms reach.
"I don't think you'll have any problems. I can ask around in the mean time for something if you need it short term. " He scowled a bit, a brief expression and one that he attempted to give her a full look. He honestly did not know what to make of this.

She was woefully behind on all the gossip in the city.
Winging it on the timing, cause i lose track
He gave her a bit of a shrug.
"It has actually been off my radar."
Which was true for several reasons.

"You've been well, I hope."

He gave her a shrug. "Oh I've been alright. Tryin' to get settled a lil bit more, figuring out what has changed."
no subject
It was good that he was settling in okay. She cared about him, in a sort of generalized way. He was one of her students, eventually, so she wanted good things for him. "Well, if there's any way I can help let me know."

Ace shoved his fingers into the front pockets of his jeans and gave Emma a bit of a nod. "I will, would be handy to have a teep around. That is if you're willin'. Prolly, just here and there and nothin' dangerous."
Nope, not dangerous though their level of danger is a bit higher than the standard human's so there is that. He would look a bit bemused when he asked her that question though. His brain still hadn't wrapped fully around the circumstances the two of them found themselves within. But she was Emma. Was she his(a turn a phrase he knowingly used, cause who after all could call Emma his or hers?)? He didn't know.
What he did know that in some way it really didn't matter in his mind. Even if her home was literally words aways from his, he would still help her. Some debts don't get paid off that easily.

He opened the rear door and gestured her in. "Don't worry about the coat Emma." Then to the driver he was a bit more firm. "Take her home, no grief." Then he slid the man what would likely be fare and half. "And your chariot awaits."
While his expression was slightly bemused, there was a roil in his brain still. Even then it was still good to see her again.
