Oh yeah, time for a meme. Apparently this is our first one. What a tragedy.

You know what we got in this City? A bunch of repressed people, who are far too comfortable behind their masks of lies and half truths. Let's have some fun with that, shall we? A la 'Liar Liar', your character is compelled to tell the truth. The whole truth. Lies of omission are still lies.

I'm gonna avoid defining things with him as long as possible.

Is that out of self protection or greed?

It's because I'm pretty sure he'd want me all to himself, and I like him enough to give it a try, but I've never been with just one person — not without at least the option of others. While I'm not opposed to monogamy on an idealogical level, I'm scared of putting all my eggs in one basket, 'cause then if my heart gets broken, there's nothing to fall back on.

In short... it's both.

Not quite, no.

After my would be wife was lured back into prostitution and killed by her john, I set out for too many years of self abuse which ended up including my death and turning. I've spent more years killing and fucking then people have been alive. I'm jaded and bitter and love is beyond me. Who would love this?

Does that feel like an inevitable conclusion to you? I mean, you must've seen the worst of humanity. Not just the cruelty, but how we keep fucking ourselves over while barely learning anything. If I lived that long, I'd be jaded and bitter, too.

And I have, yes, but I've also seen the best of humanity. The beauty and wonder and things that are possible, that you create; a thousand passions and loose limbs, laughter and kindness. Theater and martinis.

How can anyone think too badly of the race.
