Possible Scenarios01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach chruning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged!
02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filing the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running?
03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party at the Tower that spills out it's doors in welcome, by someone who calls themselves the Emperor. Obviously that's weird, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad.
04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences it's population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride. Choose your choice of sin and be wicked.
05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villian.
06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With it's open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank.
07. Wild Card: Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!
Arrival
Her free hand lightly glided along his spine, her gloved fingers rubbing in a comforting circle.
"There are most likely others. I can ask for help." She was skilled at appearing defenseless and it was a skill she could use here, to help him now.
Arrival
"Yeah, you could. It might at least let us get a better handle on this situation."
Arrival
"Let's find a safe place first. Once we have that we can meet back there and plan." It would most likely be a location that was moved in the future but they needed someplace safe. Without money it would have to be some place discrete but also easy to get to. She didn't know how hard it would be to find a safe place.
Arrival
"I'm thinking...maybe a boarding house, where we can work to earn our keep? I don't know. I have no idea what we'll find here."
Arrival
"We'll find out together." She hugged him tightly not wanting to pull away. After a moment her thin frame shifted so that she was standing next to him, though she kept herself pressed against him. It relaxed her to have him close.
Arrival
He nodded once, agreeing with her terms.
"Well, here we go."
Arrival
"What sort of work will we find here Thomas?" It was a tentative question but one that they should be ready for. Thomas knew that Justine would do anything for him but she didn't know what would be expected now.
Arrival
"Well, I've learned how to do some things, but we should find out what that might get us around here, first. We can't be the only ones here. If we play the helpless newcomers, surely someone'll bite."
Arrival
"Logically there would be others. Maybe from other places?" This wasn't a city that she knew which meant that others were most likely chosen as well. She wasn't sure the reason yet but they had no welcome, no ransom. Whatever the plan was they have time to figure it out.
Arrival
And this didn't feel like a kidnapping. It felt more like some weird, fae dislocation. He scoffed at the thought, shaking his head. If that had been the reason for their ending up here, Harry probably had something to do with it, which meant they'd be running into his little brother at some point. Looking around at their unfamiliar surroundings, he off-handedly noted exactly how little he'd mind that.
"I think you're the mistress of helpless, love." He nodded as they continued on their way down the street, noting places as he passed them. It would be beneficial to both of them if they familiarized themselves with the place. "It's sort of weird to think about, but you're probably right." But how 'other' they were talking was anyone's guess.
Arrival
They each had their different strengths and they would play to what they knew. She was skilled at appearing helpless just as Thomas was skilled at appear foolish. They were skills they've each honed and perfected to use and with Thomas near Justine felt as if she might be able too.
The smile on her lips remained set while her heart fluttered with his words. She felt her lips part as a steady calm falls over her shoulders. "Thank you." Her head cant to the side as she continued. "Do you think Harry is here?" She knew he was thinking it and considering trouble followed that man around she could only assume he's somewhere in the middle of this mess.
Arrival
That idea didn't sit quite to well with him, seeing as that may very well mean the wizard would need his help before it was all said and done. He licked his lips and rolled his shoulder in a shrug.
"He might be, yeah, I don't know, though. Wherever he is, I hope he's safe." Because I have no idea how to get to him.
Arrival
It was his gift or perhaps a family trait.
"He'll be fine. You know that he won't stop and he has more allies than just us." She'd rather that her and Thomas be ready to help him should they cross paths.
