Possible Scenarios01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach chruning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged!
02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filing the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running?
03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party at the Tower that spills out it's doors in welcome, by someone who calls themselves the Emperor. Obviously that's weird, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad.
04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences it's population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride. Choose your choice of sin and be wicked.
05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villian.
06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With it's open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank.
07. Wild Card: Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!

There's a moment of hesitation, the briefest flicker, as he considers Peter's outstretched hand before taking it.
"Daken," He offers, fingertips brushing subtly over the stranger's inner wrist before he slips his hand away. "If you've just arrived, then I have nearly forty-eight hours on you."

"Yeah, I'm not seeing it yet, either," he said, looking around at the City. "Maybe it's supposed to be more of a judgment on us. Have you heard who's put this whole thing together, yet?"
Peter was not planning on being idle. Something had brought them here and that something could bring them back. The way everything was being put, he wondered if it was some sort of crazy deportation plan put together by some government. Get rid of the 'specials' through any means necessary.

No, his cautious handshake was partly a healthy suspicion of anyone he didn't know anything about mixed with the fact that he still found handshakes incredibly awkward.
"Apparently a group of individuals calling themselves Magistrates. I haven't gotten much more than that," He sounded equally as frustrated by the strange circumstances they'd found themselves in.

He shrugs, smiling a bit. "Either way, it's somewhere to start. At least gives us a face we can punch, right?" It's never that easy, but Peter can hope.

It's Daken's turn to raise an eyebrow.
Killingpunching could be fun, but he preferred a little more finesse, especially when it came to figuring out the inner workings of an obviously established group of serial abductors.no subject

"I'm guessing last time you didn't end up in another universe however," He pointed out dryly. Their situation was frustrating and confusing to say the least. "It certainly makes the chance of rescue or escape narrower. And not a clue as to what they hope to accomplish from bringing us here."

"I might know one or two people who could wiggle out of it. But I'm gonna guess they're not anywhere near here," he said, thoughtfully. What could help clue them into the situation? "I know it's only been a couple days for you, but have you met anyone you know here? I'm wondering if they brought us in groups."

His pause stretches a little too long. It will, no doubt, seem slightly suspicious. So instead of telling the truth, he decides to go with the confusion angle. It's definitely believable.
"Yes and no... I've met a few people whose names I've recognized who are drastically different than the them that I know. Have I met anyone who I think is from the same place that I am? No. Have I met people I know, or should know? Yes."

Regardless of how much time travel Peter's gone through, he hadn't stumbled across Multiple Worlds Theory yet. As far as he knew, that scarred version of him and that virus future and the world splitting apart were all entirely gone now. They'd been wiped clean for whatever Claire's public announcement gave them.
That's not particularly gelling with what Daken's telling him, though, so he shrugs. "I get the feeling this place is going to give me a headache. Do me a favor, though? Keep an eye out for someone named Hiro Nakamura? I think he could help."

"I've seen this kind of thing before. It's not different times. It's parallel universes, or, I suppose, if you wanted to call it that, parallel timelines," He corrects steadfastly, "Like you, for example. We've met. Maybe I'll run across another you. Maybe you'll speak German or be missing an arm. There will be similarities, but in the end you'll be fundamentally different somehow. The world the other you comes from is probably also different."
Daken raises an eyebrow. So, he'd misheard Peter earlier. Hiro, not Akihiro.
"Do you? Why do you think that?"
