Possible Scenarios01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach chruning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged!
02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filing the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running?
03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party at the Tower that spills out it's doors in welcome, by someone who calls themselves the Emperor. Obviously that's weird, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad.
04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences it's population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride. Choose your choice of sin and be wicked.
05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villian.
06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With it's open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank.
07. Wild Card: Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!

Seeing her move, he caught on, moving to effortlessly remove himself from the vehicle as well, nudging the door shut before following after her. Not bolting, necessarily, but definitely taking it at a clip. As he did so, a grin started to tug at his lips, as adrenaline caught up with him. It was terrible, running away from a cab driver without paying like this, but it wasn't like they had anything. He'd be pissed anyway.
When they got to the foyer, he kept running, hitting the elevator without even knowing which floor he was going to. It didn't matter; they were inside. And it was at that point, back pressed against the wall of the lift, that Adam loosed a proper laugh, happy and a little giddy.

She reached out, experimentally touching Adam's hand. "Be my friend. It's harder to go it alone." She knew that to be a fact. She'd never had many friends, maybe she'd be able to change that here.

At the touch, he only startled a little, eyes snapping to her curiously. In truth, he knew it as well as she did - friends weren't something he had many of - and he knew that a place named the City of Sin was probably to be traversed carefully. There was no touch of Cabeswater around here, just the unfamiliar taint of whatever was attacking it.
"Okay," he agreed after a second, shifting to nudge his hand against hers in return. Then he offered a non-sequitur to go with it, an offer of what was so complicated about his life right that moment. "I think something's trying to take over my eye."
Just in case she wanted to get away from him now, before it happened.

She didn't know how, but if Adam was her friend she owed it to him to try, as long as it didn't require too much of her.

"I'm seeing the shadows too, but I kind of figured those weren't related. They only happened when I got here," Adam pointed out, leaning against the wall of the elevator thoughtfully. Finally, he stole a glance towards his keycard and the right floor, then leaned forward and jabbed the right button.
"This is different. Unless eyes are supposed to move independently of their owners. I don't know if you can help, though. I don't know what it is."

What if they were, though?
Surely not.
"I thought I took care of it."

He was much weirder than her, she decided. At least telepathy had some benefits.

"The spiritual forest I made a ritualistic deal with a few months ago told me by whispering in my deaf ear that water would work to drive it back."

Obviously the one not facing her, but she had her eyes closed to regain her composure.

"Left," he answered. It wasn't something he often admitted, but neither was most of this. It was a very weird day. Gansey was probably wondering where he was.

It made it easier to understand where he was coming from. The elevator dinged and Emma stepped off, looking at the pair of door that faced them. "Is this your floor?"

But hey, at least he'd made a friend on his first day. He glanced back down to the keycard, then nodded a little. "Yeah, it is. So I guess I'll see you later, huh?"
