Possible Scenarios
01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach chruning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged!

02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filing the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running?

03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party at the Tower that spills out it's doors in welcome, by someone who calls themselves the Emperor. Obviously that's weird, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad.

04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences it's population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride. Choose your choice of sin and be wicked.

05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villian.

06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With it's open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank.

07. Wild Card: Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!

Sansa Stark | Game of Thrones | Arrival

[personal profile] theladyofwinterfell 2016-06-13 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
Sansa has no idea how she's come to this place but she's disoriented and feels as if she might be sick. Her gown is torn and stained and the last thing she remembers is running - running as far and as fast as she can from Ramsay and his hounds. They're going to find her. They're going to find her and they're going to kill her but only after she gives him what he needs.

Sansa manages to keep herself upright but only just. She doesn't recall the last time she slept or the last time she ate, she only remembers running and being afraid. If only there was someone there to help her. If only there was someone.

There's no one, she reminds herself. There's no one who is coming to save you, you stupid little bird.

Tony DiNozzo was man who had many talents. He had the ability to think on his feet, and adapt to most situations, but being in a strange new city was weird even for him. He was glancing down at the map lost in thought.

The last thing he remembers is Ziva leaving him on the Tarmac in Isreal. He was pretty sure his heart was still there. He didn't see Sansa as she walked towards him, and gently bumped into her.

"Oh, I'm sorry," His said his eyes widening slightly, as he took the woman in. "Hey, are you okay?"

Sansa doesn't know this man but his voice sounds nothing like anyone from Westeros. While that might not normally be a comfort, it is in this instance because she knows that he isn't someone sent by Ramsay. How would Ramsay have reach beyond the North? Beyond Westeros? He wouldn't.

"No, ser, the fault is mine. I am lost and unsure of where I am," she says. Should she give a name? Should she give her name or some other one? Sansa doesn't know.

"Do you know?"

If there's one thing Rogue knows, it's what it looks like when someone is running for their life. She recognizes the frantic, desperate movements of the young red-haired woman down the way, and the sight tugs at her heart because she'd been that woman herself once. Just trying to survive...

She runs now to catch up with the woman, the girl really, who looks about to fall over at any second. Stopping at her side, not quite in her way so as not to startle the poor thing, Rogue holds out a gloved hand and carefully, quietly asks, "Sugar, are you alright? Do you need any help?"

Her voice is kind, impossibly kind. Sansa has never heard a voice quite like that before, sweet and drawn out. Her own vowels seem clipped and cold in response to it and she forces herself to smile a bit, to nod her head. She can play the little bird again, she knows she can.

"I'll be fine," she promises. "I've just seemed to have lost my way, somehow, and I'm not certain where I am."

It's not Westeros or Winterfell. That is certain.

[personal profile] theycalledmeacurse 2016-06-13 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
Rogue's fairly certain she knows that reaction too, trying to play at being okay when you obviously weren't. She's done it enough times in her life, especially recently here in the City, for such a thing to be second nature and easy to spot in others.

"You've just arrived then, I take it," she comments, keeping her drawl soft and smooth. "That happens to a lot of people, ending up here and not knowing how. It happened to me just a few weeks ago."

She takes a good look at the girl, examining the exhaustion written plain across her face, and it's easy to know what to say next. "I was just about to head home for some dinner. Would you care to join me? Everything will seem a little easier once you've had some food." It was the logic of southern hospitality, good food helped everything.

Sansa is incredibly hungry and she finds herself nodding in spite of her natural hesitance to trust anyone. This woman cannot possibly be from Westeros, not the way she speaks, and there's no reason to believe she's in league with Ramsay. None whatsoever.

"I would like something to eat. I don't have any coin to pay you but I will pay you back, I assure you. I won't let the debt go unsettled."
theycalledmeacurse: (real life)

[personal profile] theycalledmeacurse 2016-06-13 05:27 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh, sugar, you don't have to pay me back," Rogue assures her gently but firmly. "Where I come from, it's only good manners to offer a meal to a new acquaintance, and it would be a huge breach of those manners to accept money for it."

She gestures down the street. "I'm just a few streets over, it's not far. My name's Rogue, by the way. Or Marie, whichever you prefer."
theladyofwinterfell: (it comes with a price)

[personal profile] theladyofwinterfell 2016-06-14 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
"You have two names? How curious," Sansa says, giving the other woman a relieved little smile. The idea of hospitality without strings attached is a pleasing thing to her and she is glad she doesn't have to worry, at least for this moment.

"I am Sansa. I've only just shown up," she explains. "Though that must be obvious, yes?"
theycalledmeacurse: (mischievous)

[personal profile] theycalledmeacurse 2016-06-14 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
"It is, a little," Rogue acknowledges with a sympathetic smile, nodding in the direction they were heading before starting to walk, keeping the pace slow because Sansa still looks like she might be able to keel over. "But that's usually the case."

Her smile brightens a little as she goes back to what Sansa had said first. "I do have two names, it's pretty common where I'm from. We have the name we're given and the one we choose. I chose to be Rogue when I left home when I was seventeen."

Adam's never been to a place like this. He's never been dragged unceremoniously from his life and tossed into another one, and though the situation with Cabeswater was probably comparable, it still wasn't the same. With Cabeswater, at least he still had his friends next to him, going through it all alongside him.

He's pretty sure if his friends were here, they'd have said something by now.

Adam is, however, nothing if not a survivor, And though he's shaken - from the whole mess back home as much as this - he can see a girl in a torn dress not far from where he's standing with his shoes soaked and face and hair slightly damp from his attempts to repel whatever the hell had been attacking him. There's an element of skittishness he thinks he can see in her - or maybe it's his own mind, making him think so - but it makes him approach slowly and carefully.

"Hey. Are you okay?"

Sansa startles for a moment and once she realizes that his accent isn't one she recognizes, she nods jerkily. "I am fine, ser, I promise you. It's nothing. Nothing's wrong."

It's natural enough to hide who she is and what she is and she does that now, to the best of her ability but there's cracks in her facade. "I'm just lost, I think. I got turned around and I don't know where I am."
parrishing: (neutral | what's that doing there)

"All right," he grants, giving her the benefit of the doubt. It's not like he really expects people to open up immediately, and especially not to people they don't know, in strange places like this. He just offers her a small smile, trying to be unassuming. He's got it down pat.

"You're not alone there," Adam replies after a second, glancing over his shoulder a little, sizing up the city around them. It's huge, the buildings consistently taller than most he's familiar with. "I don't recognise anything around here. And I like to think I'd be at least slightly aware of it if I walked this far from home."

[personal profile] theladyofwinterfell 2016-06-14 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
Sansa cannot help but nod her agreement. "It's so far and so unfamiliar from anywhere I have ever been. Even the accents of the men and women here - I've never heard anything like them."

She peers at him, curious. "Where are you from, exactly?"

At the very least, they're in the same boat here. That's a little reassuring to Adam, despite everything else. He's still not sure what he's going to do now that he's here, but that's a question for a little later. "It's all pretty new, you're right."

He glances over to her again, then decides he sees no harm in telling her. "Henrietta, Virginia. It's a pretty small town. What about you?" She sounds like she could be English, but he's not sure.
theladyofwinterfell: (but i can't find you)

[personal profile] theladyofwinterfell 2016-06-14 06:33 pm (UTC)(link)
"I come from Winterfell," Sansa says, though his place of residence is not familiar to her at all. It's a little silly to think he'd know something as specific as Winterfell, isn't it? She gives him a little smile.

"It's in the North, in Westeros. Do you know it?"
parrishing: (neutral | leaning down)

[personal profile] parrishing 2016-06-19 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
He nods a little, because it's polite; he hasn't heard of Winterfell or Westeros, but something tells him it's not the first time he'll be at a loss for where people are from. He's far from home in this case, and he knows it.

"No, sorry." His smile is equally small, but more apologetic. He has a feeling she could use someone who knew the place. "This place is probably a huge difference, isn't it?" It was for him, at least. This was just a stab in the dark that her home was too.

Margaery was on her way back from the shelter, having spent the day helping her residents with the latest harvest in the gardens. After so many years of living alone in the city without those she cared about, she had given up hope of seeing anyone else from Westeros. The City seemed to have brought her and forgotten the rest.

The sudden flash of red hair only stirs feelings of longing in her, a reminder of a happier time when she walked in the garden with a young girl. "We will be sisters, would you like that?" It seemed like an eternity now. Sansa was far away from the city, safe and hidden from the Queen's gaze.

But the moment that Sansa turned, Margaery felt her heart stop in her chest. It couldn't be. The city would not be so cruel as to bring her here. "Sansa?"
theladyofwinterfell: (i wish that i could just be brave)

[personal profile] theladyofwinterfell 2016-06-14 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
Sansa has yet to see anyone or anything she knows in this strange city but the first familiar voice she hears is an incredibly welcome one. She can trust Margaery, more than anyone else from Westeros at the moment, and it is all she can do not to fling herself at the other woman.

"Oh, Margaery, thank the gods. I was beginning to wonder if I'd gone completely mad. Have I? Is this madness?"
thekittenqueen: ([Margaery] Arm and Arm)

[personal profile] thekittenqueen 2016-06-14 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
She holds Sansa tightly, wrapping her in her arms as she shields her from the darkness and fear this world would create. "No, you're not mad." She murmured, rubbing her back, motherly and concerned. "It's hard to explain, but you've been pulled into another realm. This place is a city. It's called The City of Sin."

It felt like madness, but it was an all too real nightmare.
theladyofwinterfell: (so shiny and new)

[personal profile] theladyofwinterfell 2016-06-14 06:34 pm (UTC)(link)
"Sin?" Sansa asks, utterly appalled. She knows that she's sinned. She's lied. She's broken her marriage vows to Tyrion and she's run away from yet another marriage. She thinks the gods might forgive her for the latter, though, considering how cruel Ramsay had been to her.

"What kind of sins? The gods haven't favored House Stark in a long time but I've never had any septons come after me."
thekittenqueen: ([Margaery] Seated With)

[personal profile] thekittenqueen 2016-06-16 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm not quite sure why some are brought here and not others." She hadn't seen Joffery or Cersei, which meant that the wicked could evade this place. "I wouldn't look at it as a condemnation for your actions, Sansa. There's some sort of strange magic in this place."

It was the only explanation she could offer that would comfort the girl. She didn't know anyone half as gentle or good as Sansa.
theladyofwinterfell: (i start spinning)

[personal profile] theladyofwinterfell 2016-06-18 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
Sansa relaxes but only a bit. She does not wish to worry herself or worry Margaery with her own examinations of the self and she thinks it should possibly be something she explores on her own later. Why has she come here, why has she been chosen? She will have to think on it.

"Magic is something I don't know that I trust. It reminds me too much of the stories I've heard about the Mad King."
thekittenqueen: ([Margaery] Serious)

[personal profile] thekittenqueen 2016-06-19 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
"I thought the same when I was brought here, but you don't need to be afraid. Come stay with me while you adjust and settle in. After a few days, the shock will wear down and I can explain things more properly." It would be better than to tell her about the Magistrates and the demons that wandered the streets.

She had no intention of letting Sansa be alone.

Podrick had been here a few days, and still was confused, both by the phone device they had given him, and... well, by everything. Was he dead? Was he lost? Was he cursed, or mad?

He had no idea what to think.

He had given in and gotten clothing that was available in the city, and felt rather odd in it, but when he spotted Sansa, Lady Stark, he found himself grinning and broke into a sprint.

"Lady Sansa! Lady Stark!" He skidded to a halt and to one knee, bowing his head as he did so. "Milady! It's me, Podrick Payne. It is very good to see you safe and free." If she was free of Bolton, then he could forgive this city anything. he had interviewed a servant and he knew exactly what had been done to her. He had gone to sleep with nightmares of it, and dreams of killing Ramsay Bolton slowly. Or of holding him while she did. But now!

She was here!
