Gold will be stepping up to defend the tower district since that is where Belle lives, also he has his apartment in the Coliseum district. Last but not least, he's rather fond of the Gardens of Pleasure, so he'll want to defend them. He's got his magic, and is rather capable with sword, gun and quarterstaff.

In addition, Gold is capable of healing and establishing protective barriers (though given enough of a pounding the latter can be broken).

edit due to updating, Gold will only be around during the first day and the last (when the big bad happens) and he will be most active when he returns. If anyone wants to see a P.O'd Dark One, the 27th is your chance.
