State of the City : Pride
WEEK 28 : Pride
July 23 - July 29
People may be getting a little bit cocky this week. Whether it’s in terms of a citizen knowing they’re capable of doing something they’re perhaps less than capable of or someone deciding that they’re exempt from a rule or three, it’s clear that this week’s influences are nudging people towards more prideful sinning. It doesn’t necessarily have to be negative thing, though: it’s all in the perception.
(Players will decide how and to what degree their characters are affected by this and all of the prominence shifts to come. It is entirely optional to be involved with the prominence events. This will last for one in-game week and end on November 10. Also, a reminder that we are on a 3:1 day ratio!
State of the City At Large:
Questions? Like to arrange a meeting with an NPC? Fire away! Additionally, feel free to use this as a plotting post for the upcoming week.

State of the City At Large:
The WeatherThis week, the weather remains positively beautiful. It’s the height of summer, and that means it’s dry and fairly warm, but the heat isn’t stifling. Sure, citizens may want to find themselves places where they can cool off, but if you’ve got air conditioning, a pool, or a good friend with either, you should be fine.
CrimeViolent crime is down this week, with the presence of some of the low- and mid-level demons down to a dull roar. For some reason, they’re simply not out and killing the way they sometimes are. That isn’t, however, to say that there isn’t the odd dead body turning up somewhere they shouldn’t be. There are, however, a slew of burglaries hitting the danker sides of town, including Shantytown and the Red Lantern District. They’re not hitting anything major, but the crimes are proving rather annoying to most citizens.
RumoursThough it was never really confirmed, people in Finance Street are all a-flutter over the public presence of their Magistrate (and his apparent paramour!) at the recently passed Masquerade Ball. Also on the citizens’ lips is the fact that things are finally quiet. Apparently they weren’t that fond of the whole Coliseum debacle either.
Additional NotesThe animals in the Gardens of Pleasure are relaxing just slightly, though they still seem to be on guard duty. As such, the district appears to be a little more safe than usual. There haven’t been many mentions of crime, violent or otherwise, nearby in the last week. In fact, criminals appear to be avoiding the district entirely.
Questions? Like to arrange a meeting with an NPC? Fire away! Additionally, feel free to use this as a plotting post for the upcoming week.

EDIT: Additional question, is any character already working at the gym or shooting range?
