HANDWAVED CR MEME

Given that RP is slowing down for right now because a lot of us have even less time and/or mental energy to RP, here's a different kind of meme. We have a CR meme that's posted, but this is a handwaved CR meme! Specifically for, you guessed it, handwaved CR. Those things that we want to say happen off'screen', between threads, etc., to supplement the moments that are threaded out.

Here's what the copy/paste form that's under the following cut will look like:

BRIEF SUMMARY: She's still IC-ly dead (on an extended dead sidelined break) so this is as far as I feel like I can go with her for current IC shenanigans whoops. but?? yeah??? revival tbd.

When she is not dead, there is general hanging out, sometimes with beer, sometimes with donuts. Maybe working their way across every bar and taco stand in the city.

YES. ~~she probably puts the donuts around the neck of the beer bottle for easy eating and drinking because who likes messy hands NOT HER~~

Sounds perfect, yes.

CHARACTER NAME & CANON: Sara Lance | DCTV
BRIEF SUMMARY: In her own words, a "formerly dead former assassin". Nothing surprises her any more, and she's somehow still surprisingly vivacious considering her life experiences.

JOB: Two! One is at the City of Sin General Hospital as a lab technician. The other is at a jazz lunge, The Lounge, as a part time singer.
FREQUENT LOCATIONS: Her job(s), gyms on a salmon ladder or something equally Extra, rooftop surfing, riding on her motorcycle, being a hot mess somewhere.
GENERAL SCHEDULE: Wake up, work, post-work at the gym for an hour or so, possibly grabbing drinks somewhere.
HOBBIES & INTERESTS: The above, as well as wrecking shit like the pods, and amateur photography when she has the time for it.
COMMON KNOWLEDGE:
— Because of her CRAU, she has three metahuman powers. The two that she uses frequently enough to be more known are her canary cry (sonic scream), and metal manipulation. That last one of the two is a work in progress a lot of the time, though.
— If your character wants to brush up on their combat skills, she can train 'em.
— She mixes great drinks.
— She's been dead before and revived by a magical fountain.
— Back in her original universe, she's captain of a time travelling ship called the Waverider.

Harry hangs with her whenever they are both in the mood for beer, pizza, or sex, or any combo. Said hangings out happen wherever, with no one being the wiser, due to the veils that Harry spins.

JOB: He is a cook at some dive bar restaurant that is newly popular due to him cooking there.

FREQUENT LOCATIONS: His job, his apartment, and the roof of the Tower, as well as random bars and warehouses around the city. Also, any place with a site line to the offices of magistrates.

HOBBIES & INTERESTS: Magic, geekery, comics, science fiction, physics, learning, reading.

COMMON KNOWLEDGE: That he drinks a lot, that he cooks really well, that he has been around the multiverse a lot, that he is a wizard and sometimes very rude, and that he can be around around Devi, Wanda, and Sara more than around anyone else.

CHARACTER NAME & CANON: Clark Kent/Kal-El/Superman
BRIEF SUMMARY:
--Mild mannered farmer and bartender
--Nice guy
--head over heals for Nina
--takes no crap, but is very polite.
--stronger than your average bear.
--Is often shirtless.

JOB: a dive bar, and the farm

FREQUENT LOCATIONS: The farm, the bar, wherever Nina is.

HOBBIES & INTERESTS: farming, helping people, justice, truth

COMMON KNOWLEDGE: That he has powers, that he can be found in the skies as often as on the ground, that he likes Nina a lot, that he dances, that he dislikes the magistrates and the Sun especially, outside of Nina, that he is not a fan of acting brashly, but has been known to dust off his fists, that he is an alien.

GARDENING BUDDIES!

Cass totally invites Clark out to her garden for gardening times. But also just to hang out. Half-nekkid gardening when it gets nice out. XD

He will be glad to attend such with her. He has no scruples against such.

And Cass has come to appreciate a good tank top (cropped or otherwise) or sports bra. So he won't be the only one enjoying the weather and showing some skin.

BRIEF SUMMARY:

FREQUENT LOCATIONS: the paper store, his house, somewhere near Claire Bennet, somewhere near Cassandra de Rolo, and then random places across the city.

GENERAL SCHEDULE: runs in the morning ~~scouts out the area near the above places~~, works, takes a stroll ~~scouts out crime, occasionally stops some if it gets to close to the above places~~, sees Claire or Cassandra, Wanders around some ~~makes more contacts~~.

HOBBIES & INTERESTS: Cooking, selling paper, family, ~~killing anyone who threatens Claire and now also Cassandra~~

COMMON KNOWLEDGE:

BRIEF SUMMARY: Retired agent for SHIELD. Mysterious, multiskilled, and pretty badass. CRAU is Throne of Shadows.

JOB: She's been doing some bounty work for the CSPD while helping with upkeep of the Chosen-run network.
FREQUENT LOCATIONS: Her quaint little home, down at the beach ~~or wherever her hot Hawaiian guy is~~, sometimes at CSPD delivering offenders. Actually, she's like a bad penny and can turn up just about anywhere.
GENERAL SCHEDULE: Workout > run > shower > food > ??
HOBBIES & INTERESTS: Axe throwing? Otherwise, not really.
COMMON KNOWLEDGE: Nat can be pretty private and likely the only knowledge people might know is through her SHIELD colleagues. So, if there's something specific, feel free to ask!

He's definitely cooked her breakfast at least two or three times now. Evenings tucked into her living room? He's drinking less too, ~~she may have noticed~~. His beach house/hut thing is done by now.. complete with functioning toilet. Sorry Nat, he still bathes in the ocean when he's not at home with you >:3

CHARACTER NAME & CANON: Caius Vitale (OC)/Highlander
BRIEF SUMMARY: 2,000 year old immortal and has been in the City off and on a number of times (four, iirc). Easy going, bit of a pessimist when it comes to love and all that schmoopy shit.

JOB: Currently co-managing OHM with Devi D, managing Liam's and sort of a maintenance/house helper at Highgarden Shelter.
FREQUENT LOCATIONS: OHM, Liam's, Highgarden Shelter, boat docks, at home at Periwinkle Street.
GENERAL SCHEDULE: He spends a couple of hours at each of the places he's "watching over" and then returns to OHM for the evening. Mostly he's pretty elusive and if he's not in his usual spots good luck with communication. He's likely out on the water in his boat.
HOBBIES & INTERESTS: Sailing, art, making music, drinking, cooking.
COMMON KNOWLEDGE: Most likely know by now he's immortal, though exactly how old might not be general knowledge to anyone other than those who know him well. He's Italian and cooks. A lot. If there's something you'd like to ask about, by all means shoot!

CHARACTER NAME & CANON: Cassandra Johanna von Musel Klossowski de Rolo | Critical Role campaign 1
BRIEF SUMMARY:

➤ The youngest of the seven children of Whitestone’s ruling family
➤ spent 5 + years held prisoner by the people who murdered her family
➤ Terribly sarcastic
➤ related to that, has a way with words
➤ Slow to trust
➤ was trained by an assassin and a clipper (on top of her regular rogue abilities)
➤ is basically a Chaotic Good Poison Ivy minus the poison kiss + Toph from Avatar the Last Airbender (she has plant manipulation/growth, bee summoning/control, and earthbending powers)
➤ Knows how to navigate politics
➤ Spent some time in (ancient) Rome; which is where she gained her powers
➤ Has issues with her brother, Percy

JOB: She doesn’t have a set job, per se; mostly she’s been indulging in games of chance and winning a lot. However she’s going to start working as a musician (violin/piano, maybe eventually singing) at a club/lounge or clubS/loungeS. Including probably Dangerous Curves? ~~Look, I created that location I gotta use it. XD~~
FREQUENT LOCATIONS: Her flat in St. John’s, her garden, the warehouse NEAR her garden that she’s turning into a second home, a club/lounge or two, a bar... rooftops; Pretty much everywhere right now, given that she’s working on gathering intel on the Sun and she’s keeping in regular contact with/reaching out to her information network.
GENERAL SCHEDULE: Rooftop run, gardening/working on her warehouse home, shower, baking/cooking, art/music, curling up with a book and a cup of coffee, ?, games of chance/information gathering, more cooking/baking.

Or something. It tends to change from day to day.

HOBBIES & INTERESTS: Gardening, cooking/baking, painting, pottery, reading, music, rooftop parkour, information gathering, sarcasm
COMMON KNOWLEDGE: Cassandra is a very private, guarded woman, so there’s not a whole lot that’s common knowledge about her unless someone is a friend of hers/someone she trusts. But things that might be known to others outside of those?

BRIEF SUMMARY: Devi's an Artist with a reality bending parasite in her head, who, through over a decade in the multiverse at large (found here) has also acquired the ability to use her Ki, in the style and rules of DragonBall Z.

JOB: She help runs OHM with Caius, and the adjoining art gallery 'AfterShock'
FREQUENT LOCATIONS: The beach, the roofs of the city, the Garden District (since she lives there), as well as OHM, any good coffee cafe, and generally walking or running around. She avoids the financial district by and large
GENERAL SCHEDULE: Early morning running/weight training over the roofs of the city ending with a swim in the ocean, followed by a pretty standard day of working, shopping if needed and going home. She can be found at night on the roofs of the Garden District star watching or painting.
HOBBIES & INTERESTS: Art is Devi's most everything, but she likes to break up that monotony by finding a fight in the RLD or in the Coliseum. Training in her gravity chamber and enriching her jaguar's general everyday life take up the rest of the time she doesn't spend working or at home.
COMMON KNOWLEDGE:
- She's a flyer and a fighter, generating explosive Ki balls

CHARACTER NAME & CANON: Arthur Curry | Aquaman
BRIEF SUMMARY: You know him, you love him, you've probably had one or several drinks with him. Arthur Curry is a 6'4 Atlantean and to-be King of Atlantis. Raised on land and still unfamiliar with his ancestral culture, Arthur is a fun loving guy who could also deadlift your car and play baseball with it.
JOB: As a dockworker, unloading the incoming supply ships.
FREQUENT LOCATIONS: The Outlaw bar, the docks, the Beach and the little slant he built there, and Natasha's house. Anywhere in between.
GENERAL SCHEDULE: ~~You looking for a piss schedule?~~ Ignore him - Home > Work > Swim > Bar > Home... or some mix thereof. If he's not staying at Natasha's, he's at his slant (with Nat company as often as he can get it), and can be found on the streets as he goes about.
HOBBIES & INTERESTS: Free diving? Does that count? Arthur likes building things and is currently looking for a new project. He's also a fun tester of Ral's tools and toys (whatever he's handed, really), and can be found at the bar at least 3 nights a week, but never crazy late. When he can snag a sparring partner, he will do that, but otherwise, you might find him staying sharp with his trident at the beach.
COMMON KNOWLEDGE: He's Aquaman and not shy about it. His general physical powers are generally known, with the exception of his talking to fish. How much your character knows or hears about it is up to you!

Yessss he actually really enjoys the time he gets to spend with other Dudes and Clark is a good humored, honorable type of guy, Arthur likes his time with him. ~~and he will not stop thinking up stupid 14 year old boy things for them to challenge each other with~~

CHARACTER NAME & CANON: Bucky Barnes | MCU
BRIEF SUMMARY: 1940s WWII soldier-turned brainwashed assassin-turned reluctant hero. There is always a fight. He is always in it, somehow.

JOB: Nowhere yet. Preferably somewhere with animals. He's good with goats?
FREQUENT LOCATIONS: The apartments at St. John's, or the training area on the main floor. Or the local bar. The park. A quiet rooftop. He's all over.
GENERAL SCHEDULE: Early riser, trains first thing in the morning and at the end of the evening to wear himself out enough to sleep. The rest of the day is mainly wandering, observing, trying to figure his situation out. Occasionally running into people who knew some version of him or another, or vice versa.
HOBBIES & INTERESTS: Regret

- He has a metal arm.
- He's been here and gone and back again several times, with no memory of previous visits.
- He's also been to other multiuniverse pit stops (Throne of Shadows) and does remember what he got up to there.
