Hi, players; short update this time. After some concerns being brought to me about various activity and absence, even in a game as small and chill as this one, I've decided to make a couple things more clear on our rules page. This isn't to make things difficult or be too micromanaging, but it is to ensure we're all being fair to each other and on the same page. We're all adult people here and this is our pretend fun times, so hopefully this helps us make more out of the experience. It also isn't doing anything too terribly different than what most of us already practice here, so there's nothing 'new' to adjust to.

An entirely new bullet point has been added in the 'Basic Game Rules' section of the rules page, which is:

↠ Because of our game's day ratio, and the fact that the game is on the smaller side of the numbers, you must be present and active. The 'small and slow' atmosphere is not an excuse to be an absent player. This does NOT mean you're getting in trouble for being human and becoming sick, or your offline life becomes hectic without warning, et cetera. That happens to all of us. It also does NOT mean you need to do your tags as soon as they hit your inbox; timezones, work, other hobbies, and life don't lend themselves to that expectation. What it DOES mean is communicate with your fellow players, put reasonable effort into playing here, and be cool.

And in the 'Characters' section of the same rules page, I've added a disclaimer about apping and dropping (the new text is in bold for emphasis here; it is NOT in bold on the rules page) and limits therein, which is:

↠ The character cap is four per player without needing mod permission to add more; to app any more than four characters, you need to go to the mod contact page BEFORE applying or reserving and you will be asked to prove activity. Please read the Application rules here. If the moderator sees that a player is abusing this system of no waiting period between one app per month and apping and dropping characters at a quick rate in a short amount of time, that player may be temporarily barred from apping any more characters (for a set amount of time) even if they aren't at the four character limit. The reasoning for this is to make sure people are adhering to being present and active in the game, and that requires a certain consistency.
