Possible Scenarios Please note that all characters will initially arrive in their assigned housing; they are free to explore the City to their heart's content after that! 01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach churning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged! 02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filling the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running? 03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party in the Tower District that spills out its doors in welcome. Obviously, this whole thing is weird and you don't know who your hosts are, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad. 04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences its population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride: choose your sin and be wicked. 05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villain. 06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With its open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank. 07. Network: There's a network device in your pocket - or at least a familiar object that seems to work in mysterious ways. Perhaps you can take to that and ask for a bit of help? Or maybe you'd prefer to have a little fun with all of this. Surely someone will reply. 08. Wild Card:Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!

She looks away again. "Well, yeah, probably, but. I dunno, how much would you have actually, really liked her if I made it forced like that?"

"And sending her into my orbit without an introduction wasn't forced?" Lucifer pointed out, with one eyebrow delicately raised. "It's not hard to introduce one person to another, Azrael. Humans do it all the time. The bulk of their political and economic systems are built on it."

"Well, Ella doesn't know I'm not human. Or that I, uh. Actually exist." She pauses for a moment. "She thinks I'm a ghost. Or, I-I told her I was a ghost, because humans tend to react better to ghosts than angels, especially when I'm of death and humans and the divine aren't meant to mix anyway..."

"Well I rather doubt you needed to worry in the first place," Lucifer says. "She still thinks I'm a method actor. She likely wouldn't believe your explanations in the first place. It's a wonder you managed to convince her your a ghost."

And then he chuckles, softly, at the idea of Azrael, Angel of Death, being mistaken for a ghost. Really. The things humans would believe.

"I mean, it wasn't very hard. No one else could see me when I was talking to her." And let's not dwell on how that kind of fucked up Ella's mental health a little.

Then she frowns slightly. "Ella isn't here too, is she?"

"No," he says quickly. "Ms Lopez is not."

Other humans and demons, well. That's another question entirely.

"Cool." That's... a genuine relief, actually. In its own weird way. "Any other family? Seems weird that it's got two of us already."

[mockeryofthedivine]

"No family," he says, a statement of truth that didn't exactly explain all the facts. Somehow, he found he wasn't exactly keen to revel the Detective's presence here. "I did wonder if Mum might be here. That perhaps I might have found my way into the very universe that I send Her to. But...well. That hasn't been the case."

She hums noncommittally at that. "...for the record, Lu? Holy shit."

"Do you let Dad hear you use that kind of language?" Lucifer says, although he's not disapproving. He's not disapproving at all. He'd love nothing more than to hear his little sister use such blasphemous profanity in front of Dear Old Dad. "As for Mother, I took the only option I had left. I'm sure you wanted as war as much as I did."

"Of course I don't, I'm busy enough cleaning up after human wars." It's easier saying that than acknowledging the idea of their siblings having to kill each other. "At least most of those these days stopped acting like Dad told them to go murdering everyone, that was. Annoying."

"Yes, the Crusades were rather messy," Lucifer agrees. "Although I must admit, the reactions when murderers in the name of Dad end up in Hell is quite entertaining. And fun for the demons! They love those souls."
