Possible Scenarios
Please note that all characters will initially arrive in their assigned housing; they are free to explore the City to their heart's content after that!

01. A New Arrival: Hello, New Person! You seem to have found yourself on a sidewalk in the City of Sin with nothing but the clothes on your back and a stomach churning feeling of being displaced. Thankfully, the streets are full of people - Watch out that you don't get mugged!

02. Demonic Presences: You were just minding your own business, weren't you? But that's always when bad things seem to happen, and the City of Sin isn't really that friendly. Whatever bar or street you're hanging out in suddenly go dim, filling the area with an unnerving feeling as the shadows on the walls jump out into reality. We suggest you phone a friend for help, or maybe try running?

03. Party Hard: You've been invited to a massive, elegant party in the Tower District that spills out its doors in welcome. Obviously, this whole thing is weird and you don't know who your hosts are, but maybe you can get some free drinks and food out of it! This place might not be so bad.

04. Prominence: The City of Sin influences its population on a weekly basis. Too bad you came right smack dab in the middle of a heavy Prominence. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, or Pride: choose your sin and be wicked.

05. Trouble: Not everyone is sunshine and roses here. Some people are violent and cruel, raised in the sludge of a sinful city. And they like to pick on people they think can't fight back. Are you that person? Or are you the Hero who can't stand to watch? Worse yet, could you be the person doing the instigating? Villain.

06. Carnival: The City has carnivals or festivals now and then; you're lucky to catch one! With its open booths filled with cork gun games and funnel cakes, how can someone not have any fun! Go win your darling a stuffed animal, or meet someone new on the spinning cup ride. You might even see someone you know being talked into sitting in the Dunk Tank.

07. Network: There's a network device in your pocket - or at least a familiar object that seems to work in mysterious ways. Perhaps you can take to that and ask for a bit of help? Or maybe you'd prefer to have a little fun with all of this. Surely someone will reply.

08. Wild Card:Choose your own adventure in the game's setting!

Mystique would shift her blue eyes upon Charles as he calmly spoke. She was listening and that was a good first step to quelling the seething anger roiling like snarling flames in the crucible of her heart.

As the glass casing trembled against the metallic covers of the street lamps rattling, sending the glass trembles and spiderwebs as it cracks the light that basked the adopted siblings in evening gold flickers as threatening to snuff out. He'd reclaimed his powers and grown stronger since last she saw him. She would straighten. "Charles, stop it." Not request, but a firm demand. He was spiraling out of control and she would not tolerate it because he was better than this childish temper tantrum.

As the trembling settled back to the stillness of the night, the silence growing deafening as he restores himself to becoming inwardly calm. Her fair hand cups his bearded chin, rising it as Mystique leans down, the soft scent of magnolia, soft jasmine and green figs washing over Charles as the curtain of blonde hair sways forward as soft lips place a kiss upon the center of his forehead. "I know," softly she speaks. She could always count on the hopeless idealist within Charles would believe in something she could no longer believe in herself. "Look how that love makes you suffer..."

She didn’t want him to suffer because of her presence nor did she want him to detect how much that simple realization made Raven’s heart ache, but Mystique couldn't allow the comfort familiar affection to dull the pang of loss and the bellowing fire of rage that still burns. She knew that if she stayed she would hurt him more than she already had. It was time to go.

Mystique stoically straightens,

"Goodbye, Charles."

Suffer. Charles doesn't feel like he suffers in the way that she means, but he won't regret it either. His feelings matter to him, they guide him in a way that is important. He cannot and will not ever change his mind. Even if it cuts his heart in half. One of his hands reaches up, brushing against her shoulder when she's close.

He doesn't want to let go.

He sighed. In a way, he could console himself with the fact that she was trapped here. She could say goodbye, but he knew she wasn't really going anywhere. The City had pulled her here for something and they wouldn't be so quick to let her return easily. He doesn't try to hide the hurt in his eyes, but he nods his head all the same.

"You can find me in the tower or in shantytown," he murmured softly. "If you need me, just look..." His voice trailed off. He wouldn't be able to keep her when she clearly didn't want to say in his presence. He could only hope she would come and find him again.

The brush of a brotherly hand upon her shoulder causes Mystique to momentarily hesitate and meet his gaze. No, she wouldn't accept the wordless offer of comfort to sway her. She wasn't that lonely and hungry little blue ten year-old girl he had found who had broken into the mansion. Not anymore.

Her blue eyes flicker and golden brow furrow at the mere mention of these strange locations. As she has only arrived, Mystique does not have the faintest notion as to the Tower and Shantytown but near sounded particularly appealing, but she could not help but at a mental note of these places where could be found. Should she choose to find him again within this City.

"Take care of yourself, Charles."

She feels it then, an explicable pull, an invisible instinct urging her silently to turn away from Charles and begin to walk into the darkness of the street. Where? She did not know, but it was steadily guiding her steps in the direction of the Colosseum. It wasn't hard to imagine the sin that drawn her to the City.

Wrath had left a terrible scar upon Raven & Mystique's soul that would pulse with each resounding heartbeat. Loss, grief, white-hot and all-consuming anger that would threaten to break to new violence upon the next foolhardy attacker who chose to impede her progress.
