Emma didn't mind that she couldn't read him. It was a relief in a lot of ways. Ace had told her too much, she wasn't ready to know everything about her future self. She headed with unerring certainty toward the most expensive of the options presented, rushing as much as she could in her ridiculous heels until she was inside the store.

Once inside Emma nodded and set to work. People filed out, leaving their unpurchased items behind. If she was going to steal she didn't want a lot of witnesses. Even the employees went to the back and began to occupy themselves away from the floor.
