He grabbed the bottle of whiskey and quickly opened it, tossing the top back on the counter. He honestly expected to drink the whole bottle. He then reached for the pills, chasing two with a long swig of his drink. He was a practiced drinker and the burn down his throat felt comfortable and familiar.
