He's a good man. One that has made many inexcusable mistakes in the past, to be sure, but he's learned from them and grown. Not many who've made similar mistakes can say that. He's always been a wonderful, loving father to me. I look up to him in some ways. He's intelligent, composed... he exemplifies all the good traits of Slytherin House, though that description might not mean much to you. But I have been frustrated with him at times, because it can often feel like I've spent most of my life dealing with the aftermath of his mistakes and trying to make up for things that happened before I was even born. I try not to blame him for how other people treated me but it isn't always easy.
