Peter tried his best to wave off most of the immediate attentions of the nurses- although he did explain it was blood loss. "Kei, wait," he called, as the vampire tried to leave. He looked up at the nurses. "He needs blood too." Peter patted at his neck. "New arrival. Let them help, Kei, please?"
They didn't get vampire 'issues' at the hospital very often. Most of them kept to themselves and had their own means of finding food. But there was still a procedure in place. Once they got the whole story, they'd get him blood in bags if he could eat that.
And Peter couldn't ever leave well enough alone, so of course he'd tell them, even while they were setting him up with an IV.
