Kei swallowed, his tongue flicking the specs of red from his lips. He stepped towards Peter, this time slower. His demon was satiated for now which left what tentative strands of humanity he had left to control his actions.

His thin body slipped beneath Peter's arm and pulled his weight away from the wall and onto him. It was easier now, he felt his strength returning and his mind clearing. He hated it but it was at least helpful. With Peter's weight in his arms he steps forward, the man's feet barely brushing the ground.

"Where is it?"

Kei wasn't going to just leave this kid here.
