"A little, especially given you haven't reached the 100 year mark yet." Caius said, eyes looking up at her. He was giving her a half smile, one that was more sympathetic than anything else. For him, it took a lot longer and it wasn't anyone that caught him saying it. He caught himself.
Caius sighed a little and shook his head. There was nothing he could say that would make any of it any easier. It was a curse, in the end. One she would have to deal with her on her own in her world. But by the way he tightened his hold around her warmly, she wasn't alone there in the City.
