Scorpius was a brilliant name. Very strong and proper, and it called back to the various naming rules of the families, and- Well, yes. The point was that it was a good name.
And really, 'Albus' only served to remind Draco of days gone by, days that he'd much rather forget. It smacked of Dark Marks burned into his skin and failed missions and more death than he could deal with. None of that showed on his face, though; he did his utmost to keep his expression neutral and even, albeit sceptical.

Which meant, of course, that this boy knew his son. Which was just bloody weird, to be quite frank. He wondered how Harry took that, and with that thought, a small, slightly hysterical laugh bubbled up out of him. Draco very quickly clamped down on that.
"Yes. Yes, it's terribly daunting and very ominous. You're welcome, for the time being, but I think you'll likely hate me later for it. Have any...immediate questions?"
