I'm Ronen! Lots of you know me! Some of you don't, I think! But I'm here to play Eliot Waugh, just one of the many magically-talented hot messes you can find in the book trilogy/Syfy series The Magicians. He's a student at Brakebills (American Hogwarts for grown-ups) and a pretty damn good magician... as well as a mostly-functional and self-aware alcoholic. Not to mention the other drugs. So, uh. There's that. But he's a lot of fun! Really. Denial of Your Problems is a lovely place this time of year.

He'll be waking up... soon (I'm not 100% sure when, because on the one hand I'm raring to go, on the other I'm about to enter two days of Work Hell). Looking forward to playing with everyone! You can find me on Plurk at RoRodiculous.

One More Thing: Eliot comes from a world where pop culture is mostly assumed to be the same as ours. Things that are culturally known even outside the nerdier pockets of society — I'm looking at Harry Potter, X-Men, and Marvel characters in particular — are things that Eliot might recognize. Luckily, he has enough of a concept of propriety that he wouldn't blurt anything fourth-wall-breaking out loud to their faces. However, if anyone is uncomfortable with fourth-wall type thoughts in his inner monologue, please let me know! I'll find a way to write around them. <3

I think I know you peripherally? Hi, I'm Aria. I'm one of your mods, and I play pre-canon (and therefore mostly AU) Narcissa Black from the Harry Potter series. She will one day be Draco's mum, but right now Lucius is a jerk and she's quite happily married to a Frenchman from three centuries ago. She has about four OOC and two IC years of game history, which might explain things.
