Filled with bars and nightclubs and speak-easies, sure, but not fancy restaurants. Classiest place we had was the Pink Flamingo, and you had ta be in'erested in a certain sort to get in there." He'd actually gone there once, just to see what all the fuss was about from the artist crowd. He'd had a good time, but had to duck out early when he'd had a little too much to drink and started having a hard time figuring out if people were really in drag, or not.

Coming to a stop in front of a sort of ball toss game, that seemed to use little pouches of sand in lieu of actual balls, Bucky glanced up at the prizes. And started frowning. "Is that... an octopus? Who wants a stuffed octopus?" A lot of the different prizes didn't make much sense to him, when he was more used to teddy bears and cheap, but pretty, dolls.
