He blinks, and suddenly he's not in Storybrooke anymore. Which isn't that unusual for him, honestly. Not even in this case; this isn't the first time he's found himself here. He still doesn't know how he got here, or how he gets home again. And he would rather be home than here. This isn't the best time to be showing up here, although at least he knows that when he does go home again, he won't have missed anything there. That's his one consolation. If he can't be where he'd rather be, at least everything there will be the way it was when he left.
He knows how this place works. He shouldn't remain standing in one place too long. Which gives him an excuse to wander through the City and see what's changed, and what hasn't. Maybe he can find someone he knew last time he was here, too.
