Charles nodded his head in agreement. "It may seem improbable, but this place is not impossible. It's here. It exists. And we exist in it, sadly." His head tilted to the side as he gazed at James. "You won't need that here. Not like you'll need it back home. We're not at war here."

Charles sighed and moved a little closer. "Would you like me to take you to get some clothes? I can try to explain where you are and help you acclimate. I'm not sure when you're from, but I'm guessing Britain or Italy from the robes you wear."
