They really shouldn't be so careless. Not everybody who likes shortcuts is being careless, honestly. And so, a thief who tried to mug him - or maybe it was a demon, who was trying to do something even less civil, he's not sure, and he doesn't really care - finds himself sans a hand, while Loki Odinson begins to walk away, slightly exasperated.
