Herbert knew it wasn't fine, it was like when Dan brought women home. Herbert would say it was fine, but Dan always knew it wasn't. They both make sacrifices in their own way. Herbert moved quietly towards the door, a hand rested on the frame, a look spared back to Dan, that rare sorrowful look, the moment his mask cracks before he can get it back in place.

"Yes, until then. Oh, and Danny." He spoke a touch softer. "I am glad you are here." That said he closed the door behind himself vanishing off to finish his shift and get to house hunting. He'd take a hit of Reagent and be good for a few days yet.
