The look of confusion would start retreating after a moment. At a certain point, Cassidy just had to start trusting what his senses were telling him.

"Cassidy." He held a hand up between them to shake Kurt's uninjured one, then set about standing, only letting out a small grunt as he hefted himself up the wall to his feet.
